This method of crosslinking can be carried out at room temperature and gives a transparent fluororesin having excellent heat resistance as compared with conventional transparent thermoplastic resins.

A molding material for the production of ozone-resistant articles which comprises a copolymer (A) and exhibits a melt flow rate of 0.1 to 50g/10min, characterized in that the copolymer (A) is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and a perfluoro vinyl ether which contains at least 3.5 % by mass of perfluoro vinyl ether units and has a melting point of 295°C or above and a content of unstable terminals of 50 or below per 1 × 106 carbon atoms contained in the copolymer.

The disclosed polytetrfluoroethylene fine powder exhibits excellent extrudability and can be used for producing a polytetrfluoroethylene formed article excellent in various electrical and mechanical characteristics in a high frequency region of 3 to 30 GHz, in particular, a PTFE formed article for high frequency insulation.
