Devices, methods and computer programs for adjusting a client device receiver parameter are disclosed. A client device (200) transmits to a network node device (210) a first capability indication indicating at least a low-resolution analog-to-digital converter capability of the client device (200), and a second capability indication indicating whether the client device (200) is capable of receiving signal information associated with low-resolution receiver processing. Based on these, the network node device (210) may determine that adjusting at least one receiver parameter of the client device (200) is needed, generate and transmit network assistance information and signal information to the client device (200) for use in adjusting at least one receiver parameter of the client device (200). The client device (200) may then perform power measurements of the received signal information and adjust receiver parameter(s) of the client device (200) accordingly.

An apparatus for interpolating between a first signal edge and a second signal edge is provided. The apparatus includes a plurality of interpolation cells coupled to a common node. At least one of the plurality of interpolation cells is configured to supply, based on a control word, the first signal edge and/or the second signal edge to the common node. Further, the apparatus includes a control circuit configured to activate all of the plurality interpolation cells in a first mode of operation, and to deactivate part of the plurality of interpolation cells in a second mode of operation.

A successive approximation register analog-to-digital converter (SAR ADC) having a sample, hold and convert amplifier circuit may be configured for either a single channel SAR ADC or a multiple channel SAR ADC. Switches or metal connection options, e.g., bit configurable or metal mask configurable, respectively, may be used to configure a common capacitor area, a portion of which may be used as a reconfigurable charge-redistribution digital-to-analog converter (CDAC) of the SAR ADC as either a single channel sample, hold and convert 12-bit capacitor configuration or a four channel sample, hold and convert 10-bit capacitor configuration. All other parts of the SAR ADC circuitry may be substantially the same for either configuration, e.g., the resistive digital-to-analog converter (RDAC), successive approximation register (SAR), ADC controller, sample, hold and convert switches, comparator, etc, may be substantially the same for either the single or multiple channel SAR ADC configurations.

An analog-to-digital converter (ADC) includes storage for one or more configuration parameter values. Configuration parameter values stored in the storage locations are used by control logic to configure the ADC's conversion mechanism. The configuration values may be arranged in lists that the control logic cycles through in order to modify the configuration of the ADC's conversion mechanism. The control logic may change from one list, or series of lists, to another in order to adapt the ADC to changing circumstances. The changing circumstances may include the changing state of charge in a battery monitoring application.
