A corner fitting preform (100) and a method of forming a corner fitting preform including steps integrally weaving a base (10) or parent material with one or more flanges or legs (20) that extend from the base (10) is disclosed. The flat woven preform includes specially engineered areas within the legs or flanges (20) that have continuous warp yarns which are not woven. The unwoven areas (28) provide a hinge which allows the flanges (20) of the preform to fold around a corner. After folding, the excess unwoven warp yarns are pulled back through the woven portion of the legs or flanges to produce a preform with continuous warp yarn reinforcement around the corner.

Die auf die Breite bezogene Fadenstärke in dtex/cm der Kettfäden (2) ist kleiner als die auf die Länge bezogene Fadenstärke in dtex/cm der Schussfäden (3). Die auf die Breite bezogene Fadenstärke der Kettfäden (2) beträgt ca. 2.000 bis 4.000 dtex/cm und die auf die Länge bezogene Fadenstärke der Schussfäden (3) beträgt ca. 8.000 bis 20.000 dtex/cm, vorzugsweise 8.000 bis 16.000 dtex/cm. Weiterhin umfasst die Erfindung einen bandförmigen Gewebeträger (1) zur Verwendung bei einem erfindungsgemäßen Gewebeklebeband.

A composite fabric garment includes a first garment portion disposed in one or more upper regions of the fabric garment, i.e. those regions relatively more likely in use to be exposed to wind and rain, and a second garment portion disposed in one or more lower regions of the fabric garment, i.e. those regions relatively less likely in use to be exposed to wind and rain. The first garment portion is formed of a first composite fabric having first inner and outer fabric layers and a first intermediate barrier layer disposed between and bonded to at least one of the first inner and outer fabric layers, the first intermediate barrier layer being breathable and substantially impermeable to wind and liquid water. The second garment portion is formed of a second composite fabric formed of second inner and outer fabric layers and having predetermined air permeability. The second garment portion further includes a second intermediate, breathable, air-permeable barrier layer disposed between and bonded to at least one of the second inner and outer fabric layers.

A papermaking belt having a reinforcing structure and a pattern layer is disclosed. The reinforcing layer has a first layer of interwoven machine direction yarns and cross-machine direction yarns. The machine direction and cross-machine direction yarns of the first layer are interwoven in a weave. The pattern layer extends outwardly from and into the first layer. The pattern layer provides a web contacting surface facing outwardly from the first layer. The pattern layer further has at least one region having an amorphous pattern of elongate two-dimensional geometrical shapes having a longitudinal axis having an angle relative to either of the machine direction or the cross-machine direction. The amorphous pattern of two-dimensional geometrical shapes has a statistically controlled degree of randomness.
