According to the present invention, a carbon-fiber preform for a carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic is formed from mutually intersecting warp and weft each of which including a carbon-fiber multifilament yarn. At least one of layer surfaces has fluff formed by cutting some of filaments of the carbon-fiber multifilament yarn, and a total fluff length of fluff formed on the warp and a total fluff length of fluff formed on the weft are not equal. The present invention provides a CFRP in which the delamination strength (interlaminar shear strength) is improved and that has a high strength.

A reinforced fiber/resin fiber composite (50) is provided which is an intermediate material for a long-fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin structure. The reinforced fiber (15) is a long fiber extending in a longitudinal direction. The resin fiber (25) includes at least two thermoplastic resin fibers. The at least two thermoplastic resin fibers are arranged around the reinforced fiber (15) to surround the reinforced fiber (15).

A method of processing a plant which comprises: the step of placing a moisture-containing plant piece within a pressurizing device and then airtightly sealing the inside of the pressurizing device; the step of heating and pressurizing the plant piece; and the step of, after the plant piece attains a definite shaping temperature, allowing airflow between the inside of the pressurizing device and the outside thereof, keeping the pressure and temperature for a definite period of time followed by cooling, and then taking out the shaped plant piece from the pressurizing device. Thus, it becomes possible to provide a method of processing a plant whereby a plant piece can be shaped into an arbitrary form without resorting to powdering or using an adhesive.
