The common bleed-off valve (15) is capable of setting a position for closing the unload passage when the common bleed-off valve is in a non-operating state. The control valves (7,8,9) have center bypass passages which function as individual bleed-off passages which open when the control valves are in neutral states. Opening characteristics of the control valves are set such that the center bypass passages are closed in initial stroke periods in which the control valves move toward operating positions.

A first (25) and a second (26) hydraulic machines are provided, both of which can operate as a pump and as a motor. The first of the two hydraulic machines is connected to a tank (30) by means of a second connection (29) and communicates with a pressure line (19) by means of a first connection (28). The pressure line can be connected to the working chamber (13) of the differential cylinder located on the rear side of the piston rod by means of a check valve (17). The second hydraulic machine is also connected to the pressure line by means of a first connection (32) and can be connected by means of a second connection (33) to a tank via a non-return valve (34) that opens in the direction of the second connection and to the working chamber (14) of the differential cylinder located on the rear side of the piston rod. According to the invention, both hydraulic machines (25, 26) can also be used to supply pressurized medium to at least one additional hydraulic consumer (40, 41, 42, 43). When a controller 53 detects by a pressure sensor 51 that the circuit pressure in the independent attachment circuit 7 has increased to an excessively high level, the controller 53 controls an electromagnetic proportional control valve 57 regardless of operation signals from an attachment operation lever 54 so as to reduce the aperture areas of the variable throttles 39,40 of the flow dividing control valve 10.

It may also involve calculating the value of the signal needed to adjust the relief valve (16) to the determined setting, by, for example, inputting the value of the user input into a function and obtaining the signal value as a result.
