摘要: Disclosed are a light source system (30) and an image projection system including the light source system. The light source system comprises a light source (31) used for generating a excitation light, a moving color device (34) used for receiving the excitation light which has a first area (41) and a second area (42) with at least two segments respectively, a driving device (34) used for driving the moving color wheel periodically so that a first light sequence is generated by the two or more first segments in the first working mode and a second light sequence is generated by the two or more second segments in the second working mode. The first light sequence is different from the second light sequence. The first and second working modes are switched by a switching device. Thus two or more different lights sequences in different working modes are generated.

摘要: According to an embodiment, provided is an image projection apparatus (1) that includes: an image forming unit (A) that forms an image using light from a light source (20); a projecting optical unit (B) that forms a projected image of the image formed by the image forming unit (A); and an outer housing (59) that houses the image forming unit (A) and the projecting optical unit (B). The image forming unit (A) and the projecting optical unit (B) are provided in the given order from a setting surface of the outer housing (59). A width of the outer housing (59) in a direction perpendicular to a projection surface is larger at a position where the projecting optical unit (B) is provided than at a position where the image forming unit (A) is provided.

摘要: In one example, a projection capture system includes: a digital camera, a projector, and a mirror housed together as a single unit in which, when the unit is deployed for use with a work surface: the camera is positioned above the projector; the projector is positioned below the camera; and the mirror is positioned above the projector and configured to reflect light from the projector into the camera capture area. In one example, a projection capture method includes: establishing a camera capture area within which a camera can capture an image of an object; establishing a projector display area overlapping the capture area and into which a projector can project light; lighting the camera capture area with the projector; and positioning a specular glare spot from the projector lighting outside the camera capture area.

摘要: A polarization conversions system (PCS) is located in the output light path of a projector. The PCS may include a polarizing beam splitter, a polarization rotating element, a reflecting element, and a polarization switch. Typically, a projector outputs randomly-polarized light. This light is input to the PCS, in which the PCS separates p-polarized light and s-polarized light at the polarizing beam splitter. P-polarized light is directed toward the polarization switch on a first path. The s-polarized light is passed on a second path through the polarization rotating element (e.g., a half-wave plate), thereby transforming it to p-polarized light. A reflecting element directs the transformed polarized light (now p-polarized) along the second path toward the polarization switch. The first and second light paths are ultimately directed toward a projection screen to collectively form a brighter screen image in cinematic applications utilizing polarized light for three-dimensional viewing.
