Abstract: Self-healing charging devices and techniques for identifying and/or troubleshooting causes of performance degradation in user devices are described. The self-healing charging devices described herein can leverage performance logs associated with user devices to identify problems on the user devices while the user devices are charging. Additionally or alternatively, the self-healing charging devices can leverage predictive models learned from a collection of data derived from a plurality of users associated with a network to identify usage and/or performance patterns for predicting issues that can arise based on usage patterns of the user of the user device. In some examples, the self-healing charging devices can be communicatively coupled to at least one network for offloading some of the processing. The self-healing charging devices can enable users to easily identify issues causing and/or leading to performance degradation on their user devices and remedy and/or prevent problems that cause the performance degradation.

Accordingly, the present disclosure may avoid an economic loss and a time loss that may occur when the fuse is incorrectly melted and the battery pack becomes unusable.

Abstract: A charging system, a surge voltage protection method when charging a device (2) and a power adapter (1), wherein the charging system comprises: a power adapter (1) and a device (2). The power adapter (1) comprises: a first rectifying unit (101), a switching unit (102), a transformer (103), a second rectifying unit (104), a first charging port (105), a second voltage sampling circuit (114), a control unit (107), and a comparing unit (115); the control unit (107) adjusts a duty cycle of a control signal, such that the voltage of a third pulsation waveform outputted from the second rectifying unit (104) satisfies charging needs; the comparing unit (115) applies a comparison signal to the switching unit (102) when a sampled voltage is greater than a reference voltage, so as to control the switching unit (102) to enforce forcible turn-on. The device (2) comprises a second charging port (201) and a battery (202) ; the second charging port (201) and the battery (202) are connected; when the second charging port (201) is connected to the first charging port (105), the second charging port (201) applies the voltage of the third pulsation waveform to the battery (202), such that the voltage of a pulsation waveform which is outputted by the power adapter (1) is directly applied to the battery (202), thus implementing safety protection against lightning.

Abstract: A charge method, an adapter and a mobile terminal are provided. The method includes: after an adapter is coupled with a mobile terminal via a charging interface, communicating, by the adapter, with the mobile terminal to determine a charging mode, in which a power wire in the charging interface is used for charging a battery, a data wire in the charging interface is used for communication between the adapter and the mobile terminal, the charging mode includes a quick charging mode and a conventional charging mode, a charging speed in the quick charging mode is greater than that in the conventional charging mode; under a situation of determining to charge the battery in the quick charging mode, communicating, by the adapter, with the mobile terminal to determine a charging current corresponding to the quick charging mode; adopting, by the adapter according to the charging current corresponding to the quick charging mode, a unidirectional pulse output current to perform a quick charge on the battery.
