The invention relates to reactive compositions containing at least one compound A that comprises at least two reactive groups selected among the group encompassing isocyanate, epoxide, alkoxysilane, and the mixtures thereof, and at least one polymeric thixotropic agent B which is produced by homopolymerizing a (meth)acrylate B1 or copolymerizing a (meth)acrylate B1 with at least one additional (meth)acrylate, the (meth)acrylate mixture having a mean (meth)acrylate functionality of 2.5 to 4.5. Said (meth)acrylate B1 is provided with three or four (meth)acrylate groups. The invention further relates to the use of compound B as a thixotropic agent.

The present invention discloses a one part, snap curing, acrylic-based composition with long worklife at room temperature. The composition cures in less than 60 seconds at temperatures below 120°C and provides a suitable worklife of 3 days at room temperature. The composition comprise of a radica I initiator with a ten hour half life, 10hr T 1/2 , equal to or less than 80°C, (meth)acrylate or vinylene-containing base oligomers and at least one additional (meth)acrylate monomer to dilute the base oligomers. Additional ingredients, such as non-reactive chemical compounds, thixotropic agents, pigments, and fillers may be added as desired. A further embodiment of the invention is a method of using the composition with an electronic device.

The pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet according to the invention can be cured even by exposure to ultraviolet rays at a low intensity or for short time so that it can contribute to energy saving and productivity improvement as a sheet for processing, fixation or surface protection of a semiconductor wafer.

A method of preparing a cured laminate employing electron beam radiation is provided. The cured laminate is prepared from an uncured laminate including a prepolymer composition containing oligomer, tackifying resin, and optionally, monomer. Also provided are a prepolymer composition and an article including the cured laminate prepared by the method of this invention. The method is useful for preparing cured laminates such as flexible laminates for food packaging.
