Abstract: An engine control apparatus (10) includes an apparatus body (20), and a control lever (40). The apparatus body (20) includes a housing (25), an axis unit (70) including a drive gear (71), a driven gear (72), and an angle sensor (110). A plurality of fixing portions (31) are provided on the housing (25). A through-hole (32) is formed in the fixing portion (31). The through-hole (32) is communicated with a first side wall (25a) and a second side wall (25b) of the housing (25). The housing (25) is fixed to a port-side mounting surface (19a) or a starboard-side mounting surface (19b) by a screw member (33) inserted into the through-hole (32). When the control lever (40) is operated, the drive gear (71) and the driven gear (72) are rotated in accordance with an angle of operation. A rotational angle of the driven gear (72) is detected by an angle sensor (110).

Abstract: Provided are an aerosol coating composition excellent in a matte effect and capable of preventing co-rotation from occurring. The aerosol coating composition contains a modified alkyd resin, inorganic microparticles and an organic solvent. Herein, the modified alkyd resin is a non-aqueous dispersion resin which is a copolymer of a vinyl based monomer and an alkyd resin. The inorganic microparticles are made of one selected from silica, titanium oxide, zinc oxide, alumina, calcium carbonate, talc and clay or the like. The inorganic microparticles have a mean particle diameter of 1.0 to 10.0 µm, and a content of 0.1 to 5 mass%. There is also provided a metallic mechanical part coated with the aerosol coating composition.

Abstract: A hollow stabilizer having an excellent fatigue property and higher strength compared to the conventional ones has a chemical composition containing 0.26% to 0.30% of C, 0.05% to 0.35% of Si, 0.5% to 1.0% of Mn, 0.05% to 1.0% of Cr, 0.005% to 0.05% ofTi, 0.0005% to 0.005% of B, and 0.0005% to 0.005% of Ca, wherein; Al, P, S, N, and O are limited to 0.08% or less, 0.05% or less, less than 0.0030%, 0.006% or less, and 0.004% or less, respectively, a remainder of the chemical composition consists of Fe and unavoidable impurities, a value of a product of the Mn content and the S content is 0.0025 or less, and a critical cooling rate Vc90 represented by a predetermined equation is 40°C/s or less; and wherein a metallic structure comprises a tempered martensite, a length of elongated MnS present at a center part in a thickness direction of the hollow stabilizer is 150 µm or less, a HRC is from 40 to 50, a thickness to outer diameter ratio is 0.14 or more, and a depth of a decarburized layer at an inner surface part is 20 µm or less from the inner surface; and a steel pipe for hollow stabilizers used as a material for the hollow stabilizer.

Disclosed is a method for manufacturing steel for a hollow spring obtained by quenching and tempering a seamless pipe for use as a material of the hollow spring, wherein the seamless pipe including predetermined components is subjected to a heat treatment is performed to satisfy quenching conditions (1) mentioned below, and to satisfy tempering conditions (2) mentioned below, (1) quenching conditions: 26 , 000 ‰¤ T 1 + 273 × log t 1 + 20 ‰¤ 29 , 000 900 °C ‰¤ T 1 ‰¤ 1 , 050 °C , 10 seconds ‰¤ t 1 ‰¤ 1 , 800 seconds , where T1 is a quenching temperature (°C), and t1 is a holding time (seconds) in a temperature range of 900°C or higher, and (2) tempering conditions: 13 , 000 ‰¤ T 2 + 273 × log t 2 + 20 ‰¤ 15 , 500 T 2 ‰¤ 550 °C , and t 2 ‰¤ 3 , 600 seconds , where T2 is a tempering temperature (°C), and t2 is a total time (seconds) from start of heating to completion of cooling.

Abstract: A stabilizer device 1 includes a bar 100 having a portion 10a to be mounted to a vehicle body. A resin ring 40 is integrally formed to the bar 100 by a direct injection method, and a bush 30 made of rubber is provided around the periphery of the resin ring 40. The bush 30 is fixed to a member 50 of the vehicle body side by a bracket 20. Since the contact area of the resin ring 40 to the bar 100 is secured by using the axial direction length of the bush 30, the movement strength of the bush 30 in the axial direction can be improved even when there is size restriction. In the fixing construction of the stabilizer device, the movement of the bush to the bar can be sufficiently prevented even when the size restriction is severe.
