The invention relates to a device for mixing additives and introducing them into a polymer melt stream. Said device comprises a line element (2), a first and second intermediary element (4a, 4b) and a pump assembly group (6), the polymer melt stream being guided in channels (8, 10) of the line element. The first intermediary element (4a) comprises a feeding element (12) which extends in the first channel in such a way that it forms a ring channel. Said feeding element (12) is surrounded by openings (14) by which means part of the polymer melt is sucked off to be mixed with an additive in the pump assembly group (6). The mixture is then redirected into the polymer melt stream via the feeding element (12). The inventive device enables shorter retention times of the polymer to be achieved and involves little effort in terms of technical equipment.

The invention relates to a polymer composition, comprising a biologically degradable polymer and a material from marine plants and/or marine animal shells, or at least two components chosen from the group comprising, saccharides and derivatives thereof, proteins, amino acids, vitamins and metal ions. The invention further relates to a moulded body, made from said polymer composition. Said moulded body may be used as packing material or fibre material. In the form of a fibre material said body may be used as a mixture component for the production of yarns, non-woven fabrics or textiles.

A method for controlling the composition of the cellulose containing extrusion solution in the production of cellulosic mouldings comprises (a) mixing cellulose with an aqueous amine oxide solution, (b) transforming the mixture into the extrusion solution by means of evaporating off water under reduced pressure with the input of shear energy, (c) extruding the extrusion solution to form the cellulosic mouldings, then coagulating them in a coagulation bath, and (d) washing the cellulosic mouldings formed to remove residual amine oxide; whereby in step (a) the relationship cellulose/amine oxide is maintained at a predetermined value by means of a pre-controller and the water content of the extrusion solution after leaving stage (b) is maintained at a pre-determined value by a means of main controller. The inventive method permits precise control of the solution composition.
