    摘要: An airbag for a saddle-ride type vehicle includes a part opposite to a head (30h), which is opposite to a rider's head when the airbag is inflated and deployed, and a neck part (30n) which rises upward from the vehicle (10) and toward the part opposite to the head (30h). The width W1 of the neck part is smaller than width W2 of the part opposite to the head (30h), and the neck part has neckings (30c) curved inside widthwise.
    The neckings (30c) help avoid interference between the handlebars of the vehicle and the airbag, and allow the airbag (30) to be inflated and deployed in substantially the same direction as a travelling direction before collision, even if lateral movement of the vehicle (10) is caused by the collision.
