摘要： An object of the present invention is to provide a wet spray-on fireproofing composition with superior fire resistance properties, which is highly fluid during pumping and has superior pumping efficiency, yet ceases to be fluid after being sprayed on, enabling thick application, and which has no risk of cracking or lifting away from the surface of steel work due to shrinking despite containing no mineral fibers. The present invention is characterized in that in a wet spray-on fireproofing composition for spray-on application after merging and mixing a slurry component and an aluminum sulfate component in aqueous solution in a spraying nozzle, the total solid content of the slurry component includes as essential compositional components: (a) 20 percent by weight or more of gypsum; (b) 5 to 40 percent by weight of slaked lime and/or quick lime; (c) organic fibers and/or light-weight fillers; and water; and the content of elements which enhance fire resistance properties after drying is 20 percent by weight or more.

摘要： A process for producing a coated aggregate for construction concrete, in which the coating consists of cements, concrete additives and/or additional substances, as well as other auxiliary substances, is characterised in that a compact and dense coating which is thinner than the grain diameter is applied on the grain surface of the round or broken aggregate. The coating is applied by progressive agglomeration. For this purpose, the aggregates are previously wetted, the coating being formed by cement which is uniformly added at the same time as water is sprayed. A light aggregate with an open-pore structure sealed by the coating is used, providing a light construction concrete which has in the form of fresh concrete a constant processability and pumpability. The thus obtained concrete has predictable apparent densities in the fresh and set state, as well as a defined concrete solidity.

摘要： Insulation barriers having a hydraulically settable component are disclosed. Such insulation barriers include laminate insulation barriers that have a highly insulative layer and a structural layer which has a hydraulically settable matrix. The highly insulative layer may include any known insulating material but is usually an inorganic material such as aerogel, xonotlite, a foamed hydraulically settable product, fiberglass, or rock wool. The structural matrix usually includes the reaction products of a hydraulically settable binder and water in combination with a rheology-modifying agent, an inorganic aggregate material, and fibrous materials to increase the strength of the final product. Finely dispersed voids may be incorporated into the hydraulically settable matrix to decrease the density and thermal conductivity of the insulation barrier. A dispersant may be added to improve the workability of the hydraulically settable mixture.

摘要： A hinge for use in inorganically filled composite materials is provided. The hinge has an inorganically filled structural matrix comprising a water-dispersable organic polymer binder, an aggregate material, and a fibrous material. The hinge allows inorganically filled materials to be bent along a line without breakage of the material. The hinge is preferably formed by scoring a formed sheet of inorganically filled material (50). The hinge is particularly useful in containers that require bending of various container parts, such as in food containers and boxes made from inorganically filled materials.
