    摘要： An information recording method is provided with: a buffering process for temporarily storing information (S R ), which is inputted from the external (14) and is to be recorded, in a buffer memory (10); a generating process for reading out the temporarily stored information from the buffer memory, and applying a predetermined signal process onto the read out information to generate processed information (S RE ) comprising a plurality of record units (42); a recording process of recording the processed information onto an information record medium (1); a detecting process of detecting a storage amount of the temporarily stored information in the buffer memory; a stop controlling process of controlling the recording process to stop recording the processed information within a presently-recorded record unit among the record units, which includes the processed information which is being recorded by the recording process, when the detected storage amount becomes less than a predetermined value; and a re-start controlling process of controlling the recording process to re-start recording the processed information onto the information record medium from one of the record units, which includes the processed information to be recorded prior in time sequence to the presently-recorded record unit, or which is identical with the presently-recorded record unit, when the detected storage amount becomes more than the predetermined value.

    摘要： An apparatus is provided for converting a first data stream supplied from a first buffer into a second data stream, and supplying the second data stream to a second buffer. The first data stream includes a plurality of first data groups each including significant data. Further, the first data stream includes a plurality of time values each indicating a point of time corresponding to a position of respective one of the plurality of first data groups within the first data stream. The apparatus includes: a first determining device for determining a first amount of the first data stream accumulated in the first buffer on the basis of at least one of the plurality of time values; a second determining device for determining a second amount of the second data stream accumulated in the second buffer on the basis of an amount of the second data stream that is supplied to the second buffer; a calculation device for calculating a difference between the first amount and the second amount by subtracting the second amount from the first amount; a first placing device for placing the significant data extracted from the first data stream supplied from the first buffer, into the second data stream, if the difference is smaller than a predetermined value; and a second placing device for placing an additional data into the second data stream, if the difference is not smaller than the predetermined value.
