Described herein are high purity compositions comprising condensable materials and methods to purify condensable materials. In one aspect, there is provided a composition comprising: tungsten hexachloride which is substantially free of at least one impurity and wherein the tungsten hexachloride comprises at least 90%, preferably 95 % and more preferably 99 % by weight or greater of a β- WCl 6 and 5% by weight or less of the α- WCl 6 as measured by X-ray diffraction.

摘要： An evaporation device has an inner tube and an outer tube. The inner tube is made of a hydrophilic membrane, such as DutyionT. The outer tube is preferably made of a material that readily absorbs solar radiation and is a good heat conductor. There is a gap between the inner tube and the outer tube for the flow of air. The inner tube contains a flow of impure water. The hydrophilic membrane allows water to pass to the outside of the inner tube as vapor, but prevents impurities from passing through. Air flowing in the gap takes up the water vapor and humidified air exits the evaporation device. This humidified air is subsequently cooled to collect the vapor and provide purified water, e.g. at a condenser.

摘要： Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zur Luftbefeuchtung in Gebäuden mit transparenten Oberflächen mit den Zielsetzungen der Raumkühlung durch steuerbare Beschattung und Wasserverdunstung bei gleichzeitiger Überführung der durch die Wasserverdunstung zwischengespeicherten Energie zu einem Wärmetauscher. Dabei wird der höhere Energiegehalt der feuchten Luft zur Verringerung der Lüftungsleistung genutzt und durch Kondensation des vorverdunsteten Wassers am Wärmetauscher der Wärmeübergang verbessert. Die Anlage ermöglicht die Aufbereitung von Wasser durch Destillation bei Verdunstung von salzhaltigem oder verunreinigtem Wasser und anschließender Kondensation.
