The FPA (106) comprises a plurality of detectors (110, 302) and the MSP filter (104, 400) comprises at least a first bandpass filter (418) having a first frequency range and a second bandpass filter (420) having a second frequency range that is distinct from the first frequency range and a first polarization filter (406) having a first polarization value and a second polarization filter (408) having a second polarization value that is distinct from the first polarization value.

Abstract: A Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) apparatus provides for self- calibration of mirror positioning of a moveable mirror of an interferometer. At least one mirror in the MEMS apparatus includes a non-planar surface. The moveable mirror is coupled to a MEMS actuator having a variable capacitance. The MEMS apparatus includes a capacitive sensing circuit for determining the capacitance of the MEMS actuator at multiple reference positions of the moveable mirror corresponding to a center burst and one or more secondary bursts of an interferogram produced by the interferometer based on the non-planar surface. A calibration module uses the actuator capacitances at the reference positions to compensate for any drift in the capacitive sensing circuit.

The light detection element (137) detects, on a single light receiving surface, light quantity data indicating a light quantity of light reflected by the first light reflection surfaces and the second light reflection surfaces. The light quantity acquirer (142) acquires the light quantity data detected by the light detection element at a predetermined sampling frequency.
