摘要： The invention provides a seal (10) that forms part of a container for storing and dispensing consumer products. The container can be used in place of conventional blister packs for the packaging of pills, tablets or capsules or multi-cavity containers for organising and storing mixed medication for subsequent dispensation according to a predefined dosage regimen. The container includes a tray (1 ) having a generally planar top surface (2) into which has been formed one or more discrete cavities (4) for receiving the consumer products. The seal (10) includes a cover film (12) and a barrier film (20). The cover film (12) has pre-formed lines of separation (18) defining a removable portion (16) per cavity to retain the consumer products in that cavity (4) until it is removed along its line of separation. The barrier film (20) is secured to the cover film (12) by a layer of peelable adhesive and has pre-formed lines of separation (24) defining the periphery of a barrier patch (26) per removable portion (16) that is shaped and sized so that in use it overlies an associated cavity. The barrier film (20) is adapted to be secured to the generally planar top surface (2) of the tray (1) by a heat-sealing adhesive (28). The seal (10) is particularly suitable for industrial application by a heat-sealing apparatus.

The motor housing (20) is formed to take its angular support from a falsework post (1) and its vertical support from either the falsework post (1), the screw collar (7) or the collar adapter (10). The motor (19) drives the motor drive element (16) such as the spur gear which engages the drive engagement element or elements (11) of the screw collar (7) or the collar adapter (10), drivingly to turn the screw collar (7) either directly or by rotation of the collar adapter (10).

摘要： A transdermal drug delivery patch comprises a reservoir (5) containing a drug for delivery to a patient; means (7) for affixing the patch to the skin of the patient; and manually operable means for actuating an extensor mechanism (10) to exert pressure on the reservoir (5) and thereby expel the drug towards the skin. The patch may be supplied with the extensor mechanism (10) held in a strained configuration and the manually operable means may be a restraint such as a peelable layer (14) that can be removed to allow the extensor mechanism (10) to move using stored energy towards a rest configuration. In one embodiment, the extensor mechanism (10) is a ring of resilient material that is pre-stretched radially inwards so that, upon release, it stretches the reservoir (5) radially outwards. Alternatively, the patch may be supplied with the extensor mechanism (10) in a rest configuration and the manually operable means may deform it in a predefined manner into a strained configuration, for example by drawing two tabs on the extensor mechanism towards one another through a predetermined distance and latching them together.

摘要： A common regulator valve is provided for a variable displacement pump fuel metering scheme in which the common regulator valve both controls working output to a pump actuator to control displacement of the variable displacement pump and also to control bypass of excess fuel flow. The regulator valve also includes a differential piston which generates a compensation force off of the bypass flow in order to compensate for changes in spring force and flow reaction force at different system pressures and operational states. As a result, errors in the metered fuel flow can be either eliminated or substantially reduced.

摘要： A passive secondary air delivery system for a two bed catalyst is provided. The system delivers passive secondary air to the second catalyst bed to facilitate oxidation of CO and remaining unburned HC. In a turbocharged engine, the secondary air may be provided from the compressor side of the turbocharger. Control of the amount of air bled from the turbocharger is provided by an orifice in the pipe connecting the turbocharger to the catalyst bed. No active controls are required. In non-turbocharged engines, passive secondary air may be provided by a venturi mixer ported to ambient positioned between the two catalyst beds. In either embodiment, no moving parts or active controls are required.

摘要： A fuel control system is provided. The fuel control system includes an electronic control system coupled to a pair of control valves for blending pipeline fuel with waste fuel at a blend ratio for controlling fuel flow to an internal combustion engine. The fuel control system can estimate energy content of the fuel mixture to compensate the blend ratio. The fuel control system can use engine operational parameters to compensate the blend ratio. Typically, the system will use the operational parameter of output power or exhaust emissions to compensate the blend ratio. Further, the fuel control system can prioritize variation from the blend ratio or variation from a desired power output when the blend ratio cannot generate the desired power output. The fuel control system can also be equipped with engine speed/load controls, misfire, ignition timing and knock detection capabilities.
