A method and an apparatus for monitoring simultaneously the temperature and the velocity of sprayed particles. The system is comprised of a sensor head attached to the spray gun, an optical fibre transmitting the collected radiation to detection apparatus, and a protective detection cabinet having the detection apparatus that incorporates two detectors. A two-slit or multiple-slit mask is located in the sensor head at the end of the optical fibre. For the temperature measurements, the particle emitted radiation collected by the sensor head is transmitted to two photodetectors, filtered by interference filters at two adjacent wavelengths. The particle temperature may be computed from the ratio of the detector outputs. To measure the velocity, the two-slit system collects radiation emitted by the in-flight particles travelling in the sensor field of view, which generates a double peak light pulse transmitted through the optical fibre. The time delay between these two peaks may be evaluated automatically and the particle velocity computed knowing the distance between the two slit images.

A dry porous macromolecular matrix comprising a cross-linked mixture of 69.9 to 86.6% by weight of an inert protein and 0.4 to 10.2% by weight of a lipase enzyme and a cross-linking agent, the amount of cross-linking agent being about 11.7% to 23% by weight. Also within the scope of the present invention is a process for preparing the dry porous macromolecular matrix. This process comprises reacting the lipase enzyme, the inert protein and the cross-linking agent with a buffer solution, freezing the resulting reaction mixture at a temperature ranging between -20°C and -195°C, allowing the frozen mixture to thaw to a temperature ranging from 4°C to 25°C, and rinsing and drying the resulting product at room temperature.

Plasmide de fusion destiné à la synthèse in vivo d'un polypeptide à modification lipidique. Le plasmide comporte une première séquence ADN codant un peptide à signal lipoprotéique, de préférence un peptide bactérien à signal lipoprotéique, ainsi qu'au moins le premier aminoacide d'une lipoprotéine mûre, de préférence la cystéine. Dans la séquence ADN, le codon cystéinique préféré peut être suivi de codons pour quelques aminoacides qui forment une structure à tour-beta. Ces aminoacides peuvent également comprendre un site de clivage à reconnaissance de protéase exogène et spécifique. Une deuxième séquence ADN codant le polypeptide souhaité peut s'introduire dans le plasmide de fusion afin de produire le polypeptide à modification lipidique souhaité.

L'invention se rapporte à une beta-1,3-glucanase pratiquement exempte de protéases. On obtient l'enzyme par l'utilisation d'un vecteur d'expression d'ADN recombinant, qui comprend une séquence ADN codant le gène de beta-1,3-glucanase ou bien les mutants et les variants dudit gène, placés sous contrôle d'un promoteur d'expression exogène, de préférence, un promoteur bactérien. De même, le gène de beta-1,3-glucanase peut comprendre des séquences adjacentes au cadre de lecture ouvert du gène de beta-1,3-glucanase orginal. L'invention se rapporte également à un microorganisme transformé par un vecteur d'expression d'ADN recombinant comprenant le gène de beta-1,3-glucanase ou les mutants ou les variants dudit gène, sous contrôle d'un promoteur d'expression exogène.
