The present invention relates to an illumination device where a number of light sources are arranged on a heat sink and adapted to emit light in substantially the same direction. The heat sink comprises a first cooling plate and a second cooling plate. A first part of the light sources are arranged on the first cooling plate and a second part of the light sources are arranged on the second cooling plate. The first and second cooling plates are separated by a distance and a flow channel is defined there between. The flow channel allows cooling fluid to flow between the first cooling plate and the second cooling plate whereby the light sources can be cooled by the cooling fluid. The heat sink comprises further a number of light passages allowing light to propagate from the second cooling plate, towards the first cooling plate and through the first cooling plate.

The present invention relates to a dual function light controller for a lighting system comprising a number of light emitting devices. The dual function light controller acts in a stand-alone mode of operation as an independent light controller controlling the lighting system and acts in a peripheral mode of operation act as a peripheral device which at least partially is controlled by a main controller controlling the lighting system. The dual function light controller comprises user switching means enabling a user to switch between the sand-alone mode of operation and the peripheral mode of operation. The present invention relates also to a lighting system comprising such dual function light control device.

The present invention relates to a method for generating an air stream for cooling a light source and to a light source module for a light fixture, which light source module comprises cooling means for cooling the light source and the light source base. The object of the invention is to achieve highly effective cooling of a lamp in a light fixture or a projector. This can be achieved by a light source module if at least one forced air streams generated by a blower system, which blower system can be placed in the light fixture housing, which blower system can be connected through a tube, which tube can end in a duct, which duct direct a air stream in a direction towards the light source. By using a tube for the connection between the blowing unit and the actual place where air stream is to be used for cooling, it is possible that the blowing system can be operating in a place where it is possible for the inlet of suction the air into the blowing unit can be placed in a relatively cool place. This leads to the blowing of air with a temperature as low as possible.

The priority schema comprising a number of priority rules defining how the first effect function and the second effect must be executed in relation to each other, and the synchronizing schema comprises a number of synchronizing functions defining how the controlling means must execute the first effect function and the second effect function in relation to time and in relation to each other.
