Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for producing aqueous dispersions of thermoplastic polymers which have a multitude of ester groups and/or carbonate groups in the polymer backbone, and which have an acid number of less than 5 mg KOH/g, especially not more than 3 mg KOH/g, and a zero-shear viscosity η 0 (180°C) at 180°C of at least 60 Pa·s. The invention also relates to polymer dispersions obtainable by this process and to the use thereof.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a biodegradable material in the form of a foil or film, said material containing a polymer. The polymer contains at least one porous organometallic framework which contains at least one at least bidentate organic compound that is coordinatively bound to a metal ion. The invention also relates to packaging for foodstuffs containing a material of this type, to the use of said material for packaging foodstuffs and to the use of a porous organometal framework for absorbing ethene in foodstuff packaging.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a foam layer which is produced from a biodegradable polyester mixture, comprising i) 70 to 5% by weight, based on the total weight of components i to ii, of at least one polyester made of aliphatic and aromatic dicarboxylic acids and aliphatic dihydroxy compounds and ii) 30 to 95% by weight, based on the total weight of components i to ii, of polylactide, and iii) 0.1 to 5% by weight, based on the total weight of components i to ii, of an epoxy group-containing copolymer made of styrene, acrylic ester and/or methacrylic ester, and iv) 0.5 to 15% by weight of additives; and v) 0 to 50% by weight of inorganic or organic fillers. The invention also relates to methods for producing said foam layer and to the use of the foam layer for producing molded articles. It finally relates to films and molded parts and to films that contain the foam layers according to the invention.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to biodegradable polyester mixtures, comprising: i) 95 to 99.95% by weight, in relation to the total weight of the components (i to ii), of at least one biodegradable homopolyester or copolyester, selected from the group: polylactide, polycaprolactone, polyhydroxyalkanoate and polyester, made of aliphatic or aliphatic and aromatic dicarboxylic acids and aliphatic dihydroxy compounds, and ii) 0.05 to 5% by weight, in relation to the total weight of the components (i to ii), of biodiesel. The present invention further relates to a method for producing the polyester mixtures according to the invention, the use of the polyester mixtures according to the invention for producing molded parts, films or fibers, and molded parts, films or fibers comprising the polyester mixtures according to the inventions.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a singly or multiply corrugated board glued on one or both sides, wherein at least one of the top plies or corrugations is a paper film composite comprising: i) a paper material having a grammage of 30 to 600 g/m2 and ii) a biodegradable plastic coating that is 1 to 100 µm thick. The invention relates in particular to singly or multiply corrugated cardboard glued on one or both sides, wherein at least one of the top plies or corrugations is a paper film composite comprising: i) a paper material having a grammage of 30 to 600 g/m2 as an outer layer, ii) a biodegradable plastic coating that is 1 to 100 µm thick as an intermediate layer, and iii) a paper material having a grammage of 30 to 600 g/m2 as an inner layer. The invention further relates to a method for producing said corrugated board.
