    摘要: The invention relates to a device for measuring the steering rack path of a motor vehicle steering system, which has a steering actuation device and a steering rack actively connected thereto. Said steering rack can be displaced in an essentially linear manner and pivots the wheels into a desired position via additional elements such as a steering tie rod and a steering knuckle arm. One or more field-producing means are provided in the vicinity of the steering rack, the material thereof consists of a plastic-bonded permanent-magnetic material, and has/have a course of the magnetic field line and/or course of the magnetic field intensity according to the Nonius principle. In addition, at least one sensor module is mounted in a fixed manner next to the steering rack, has at least one magnetic field sensor and at least one sensor switching circuit, and transforms the course of the magnetic field line or course of the magnetic field intensity into output signals, which can be processed further and which indicate a linear path change or the position of the steering rack in the direction of its longitudinal axis.

    摘要: The invention relates to a vehicle steering system for motor vehicles, comprising a steering wheel (1), which co-operates with steerable vehicle wheels, in order to specify a driving direction, in addition to a hydraulic working cylinder (19), which comprises two cylinder chambers (21, 22). In addition, the system is provided with a hydraulic pressure source, which exerts a hydraulic pressure on a steering valve (15) that is configured as a slide valve. The steering valve controls the intensity of the hydraulic pressure that is routed to the cylinder chambers of the working cylinder, a differential pressure determining the active direction and intensity of the steering assistance. The steering valve is a slide valve and comprises a gating unit consisting of a control sleeve (41) and a control slide (42). The control sleeve (41) is provided with at least one control window, and the non-linear differential pressure depends on the free cross-sectional surface of the control window, said cross-sectional surface being modified by a displacement of the control slide. The border of the control window is configured in such a way that the free cross-sectional surface of the control window is modified in such a way that the intensity of the differential pressure has an essentially linear dependence on the displacement of the control slide.
