A fluoropolymer for masonry treatment produced from (A) a fluoromonomer which has been substituted in the alpha-position by a group X and is represented by the formula (I) and (B) a monomer having a functional group reactive with active hydrogen. It imparts excellent water-and-oil repellency and unsusceptibility to fouling to masonries.

There is provided a protection cover of solar cell having processability at room temperature, solvent resistance, weather resistance and durability without impairing its transparency, and also a curable fluorine-containing coating composition being capable of forming the protection cover. The curable fluorine-containing coating composition for a protection cover of solar cell comprises (A) a curable fluorine-containing resin, (B) a curing agent and (C) a solvent and is used for forming a top coat layer (III) of a cured article comprising the fluorine-containing resin, in which the top coat layer is provided, directly or via a primer layer (IV), on a transparent resin layer (II) provided on the sunlight irradiation side of a solar cell module (I).

A fluoropolymer obtained from (1) a fluoroalkylated monomer and (2) a silicon compound monomer used in an amount of 2.0 to 6.0 wt.% based on the polymer. When applied to a masonry, the fluoropolymer imparts to the masonry excellent water-and-oil repellency and unsusceptibility to fouling.

There is provided a polyester coating composition having excellent action of preventing deposition of outdoor stain and stain caused by rainfall, being capable of extending a period of time (pot life) from the mixing to the coating, and comprising (A) a polyester resin, (B) one or more of fluorine-containing organosilicon compounds having a fluorine content of 5 to 30 % by mass, (C) one or more of aliphatic hydrocarbon compounds having hydroxyl group and 1 to 10 carbon atoms, in which a part of hydrogen atoms bonded to carbon atom may be substituted by fluorine atoms and/or one or more of alkoxy compounds having 2 to 10 carbon atoms, in which a part of hydrogen atoms bonded to carbon atom may be substituted by fluorine atoms, and (D) an organic solvent.

Disclosed is a water-repellent oil-repellent antifouling agent containing a fluorine-containing polymer for a treatment for providing water repellency, oil repellency and antifouling property. The fluorine-containing polymer has a repeating unit (A) derived from a fluorine-containing acrylate monomer, and a repeating unit (B) derived from at least one non-fluorine acrylate monomer selected from the group consisting of a monomer (B1) having a cyclic hydrocarbon group and a monomer (B2) having a short chain hydrocarbon group. This water-repellent oil-repellent antifouling agent has good solubility in solvents, and exhibits excellent effects on various bases, especially on masonries.

Disclosed is a high energy ray-curable composition which is excellent in storage stability before curing and enables to form a cured coating film which is excellent in hardness, property of preventing adhesion of fats and oils, property of wiping off fats and oils, abrasion resistance, transparency, water repellency, adhesion, smoothness and uniformity. Specifically disclosed is a high energy ray-curable composition containing the following components (A)-(D). (A) 100 parts by weight of a polyfunctional acrylate (B) 1-30 parts by weight of an organoalkoxysilane having an aliphatic unsaturated bond (C) 1-100 parts by weight of colloidal silica (D) 0.2-20 parts by weight of a fluorine compound having an aliphatic unsaturated bond.
