Abstract:
Provided is a surface treatment agent comprising (A) a fluorine-containing polymer including a repeat unit derived from a fluorine-containing monomer (A1) and a repeat unit derived from a hydrocarbon group-bearing fluorine-free monomer (A2), and (B) a liquid medium. The fluorine-free monomer (A2) is preferably at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of (A2-1) R 22 -C(=O)-NH-R 23 -O-R 21 , (A2-2) CH 2 =C(-R 32 )-C(=O)-Y 31 -Z 31 (-Y 32 -R 31 ) n , and (A2-3)X 41 N(H) r -R 41 . The surface treatment agent imparts an excellent water/oil repellency to base materials, e.g., fibers.
Abstract:
To provide a water/oil repellent composition which can impart sufficient post-air-drying water/oil repellency to the surface of an article, and which presents a low environmental impact, and an article having its surface treated with the water/oil repellent composition. A water/oil repellent composition comprising a copolymer (A) having structural units based on a monomer (a), structural units based on a monomer (b), structural units based on a monomer (c) and/or structural units based on a monomer (d); and an aqueous medium (B) containing water, and a film-forming assistant (x) and/or a film-forming assistant (y). Monomer (a): a monomer having a C 1-6 polyfluoroalkyl group, monomer (b): vinylidene chloride, monomer (c): a monomer, the homopolymer of which has a glass transition temperature of at least 20°C, monomer (d): a monomer having a crosslinkable functional group, film-forming assistant (x): a specific amide solvent, and film-forming assistant (y): a specific glycol solvent.
Abstract:
An object of the present invention is to provide a resin composite-type optical element capable of cutting off ultraviolet light even though it uses a photocurable resin. A resin composite-type optical element of the present invention is a resin composite-type optical element having a base material and a resin layer, and the resin layer has at least a first resin layer which is a molded product of a photocurable resin and which has an internal transmittance of not less than 85% for light of the wavelength of 400 nm in the thickness of 100 µm and an internal transmittance of not more than 3% for light of the wavelength of 360 nm in the thickness of 100 µm.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a fluorine-containing composition which contains a fluorine-containing polymer that has repeating units respectively derived from (A) a fluorine-containing monomer that is an alpha-chloroacrylate having a fluoroalkyl group, (B) a monomer that has a linear or branched hydrocarbon group but does not have a fluoroalkyl group, and (C) a monomer that has a cyclic hydrocarbon group but does not have a fluoroalkyl group. This fluorine-containing composition is capable of providing a base such as a fiber product with excellent water repellency, especially strong water repellency.
Abstract:
