摘要: A reducing agent supplying device includes reaction container (20), ozone generator (30), air pump (30p), ozone-containing air pipe (26), compressed air pipe (25), switching device (25v, 26v), and switching controller (41 a). The reaction container defines a reaction chamber (20a) in which reducing agent is reformed. The ozone generator generates ozone from oxygen in air, being supplied by the air pump. Ozone-containing air flows through the ozone-containing air pipe toward the reaction chamber. A portion of compressed air flows through the compressed air pipe toward the reaction chamber. The switching device switches between an air pump mode, in which the ozone-containing air is supplied into the reaction chamber, and a supercharging mode, in which the compressed air is supplied into the reaction chamber. The switching controller controls the switching device based on a temperature of the reducing catalyst and an exhaust pressure in the exhaust passage.

The reducing agent supplying device supplies a reducing agent into the exhaust passage (10ex) at a position upstream of the NOx purifying device (15). The reducing agent supplying device includes an air pipe (23), a vaporizing container (25), an injector (70), a heating member (30, 40) and a mixing plate (50). The air pipe defines an air passage (23b) therein. The vaporizing container (25) defines a vaporizing chamber (25a) therein that branches off from the air passage (23b). The vaporizing chamber (25a) is connected to the air pipe (23). The injector (70) injects liquid hydrocarbon compound as a reducing agent. The heating member (30, 40) is disposed in the vaporizing chamber (25a). The heating member (30, 40) heats and vaporizes the reducing agent injected from the injector (70). The mixing plate (50) is connected to the heating member (30, 40). The mixing plate extends from the vaporizing chamber (25a) into the air passage (23b).

摘要: A reducing agent supplying device is for a fuel combustion system that includes a NOx purifying device (15) with a reducing catalyst arranged in an exhaust passage (10ex) to purify NOx contained in exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine (10). The reducing agent supplying device supplies a reducing agent into the exhaust passage at a position upstream of the reducing catalyst. The reducing agent supplying device includes a reforming portion (30, 50) and a reformation suppressing portion (S54, S55). The reforming portion (30, 50) reforms the reducing agent by partially oxidizing the reducing agent. When a temperature of the reducing agent is higher than a first specified temperature (T1) that is equal to or higher than an activation temperature of the reducing catalyst (about 400°C), the reformation suppressing portion (S54, S55) (i) suppresses the degree of reformation of the reducing agent in comparison with when a temperature of the reducing agent is lower than the first specified temperature (T1), or (ii) stops the reformation of the reducing agent.
