Surface profile information of the reflecting base material 7 is obtained by a laser displacement gauge 3. Next, the unevenness information obtained is subjected to Fourier transform, and the relationship between frequency and intensity for the surface unevenness profile of the reflecting base material is obtained. Next, the calculated relationship between the frequency and intensity is compared with a preset standard data. When the intensity exceeds 0.6 at a predetermined range of frequency domain, a judgment of rejection is made; when no data exceeding 0.6 exists in said judgment domain, a judgment of acceptance is made.

A wiring method is provided, in which a wire conductor is stuck on a surface of a substrate by causing a three-dimensional relative movement between a wiring head (2) for guiding the wire conductor (5) and the substrate (11) such that the wiring head relatively moves along an adhesive layer (12) on the surface of the substrate and the wiring head and the adhesive layer intermittently come close to each other for point contact. A wiring apparatus for carrying out the wiring method includes a table (1) for supporting the substrate, a wiring head arranged for reciprocating motion between a close position in which the wiring head can be in point contact with the adhesive layer and a distant position in which the wiring head is most distant from the adhesive layer, and a moving mechanism (3) for causing a translational motion of the wiring head along the surface of the substrate under the control of a control section (4). The wire conductor is stuck onto the surface of substrate point by point, to be laid thereon, whereby a planar transformer, an antenna coil or a conductor pattern is formed on the substrate.

The present invention provides a diaphragm for planar speaker and a planar speaker having a long-term stability and a high reliability and exhibiting a flat sound pressure frequency property. A diaphragm for planar speaker according to the present invention includes a voice coil 2 formed by winding a wire conductor, two adhesive layers 3 and 3' sandwiching the voice coil 2 therebetween, and bases 4 and 4' bonded to the two adhesive layers 3 and 3' on the side opposite to the voice coil 2. A planar speaker according to the present invention employs the diaphragm of the present invention.
