摘要: Head mounted display, HMD, with forward facing camera(s) for Mixed Reality or Merged Reality (MR), sometimes called Augmented Reality (AR). The user wearing the HMD can walk around the real world seeing virtual objects, static or moving, superimposed over actual objects. The available scenes is used to recognize objects and then to fill in the occluded or partially scanned regions based on the expected geometries of those objects.

摘要: Often when there is a glare on a display screen the user may be able to mitigate the glare by tilting or otherwise moving the screen or changing their viewing position. However, when driving a car there are limited options for overcoming glares on the dashboard, especially when you are driving for a long distance in the same direction. Embodiments are directed to eliminating such glare. Other embodiments are related to mixed reality (MR) and filling in occluded areas.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods of maintaining source device to sink device synchronization in systems in which the source device enters a Panel Self-Refresh (PSR/PSR2) mode and the sink device enables adaptive synchronization with the source device. To maintain synchronization, in some instances the source device and the sink device may maintain synchronization contemporaneous with at least a portion of the PSR/PSR2 operating mode. To maintain synchronization, in some instances, a high-bandwidth communications link may be maintained between the source device and the sink device. In some instances, synchronization between the source device and the sink device may be interrupted upon the source device entering the PSR/PSR2 operating mode and may be re-established upon the source device exiting the PSR/PSR2 operating mode.

摘要: Systems, apparatuses and methods may provide for technology that partitions a high dynamic range (HDR) image into a plurality of regions and determines, on a per region basis, a luminance level of the HDR image. Additionally, the technology may select, on the per image basis, a encoding amount for each region in the plurality of regions based on the luminance level.

摘要: Systems, apparatuses and methods may a performance-enhanced computing system. The performance-enhanced computing system comprises
a sensor (602) to measure luminance values corresponding to light focused onto the sensor at a plurality of pixel locations;
a memory (104, 222) including a set of instructions; and
a processor (102), wherein when executed by the processor, the instructions cause the system to:
periodically scan a plurality of detection images from the sensor while the senor remains enabled;
utilize a plurality of exposure estimates for each of the detection images to determine a plurality of shutter times; and
scan a plurality of capture images from the sensor for storage into a plurality of image buffers;
wherein the capture images include at least an under-exposed image, a well exposed image, and an over-exposed image.
