摘要: To provide a packaging machine which uses sealing members to sandwich and seal a packaging material, wherein the presence of articles trapped in the sealed portions can be detected even when using, as the drive source of the sealing members, a mechanism that is incapable of perceiving the force/moment exerted on the packaging material by the drive source, and positional information pertaining to the drive source, directly from information obtained from the drive source. In this packaging machine, a pair of sealing jaws (51) sandwiches and seals a sealed portion of a tubular film (Fc). The packaging machine is provided with a first rotating shaft (53a) for supporting one sealing jaw (51 a), a second rotating shaft (53b) for supporting the other sealing jaw (51 b), a rotary encoder (40), and an entrapment determination part. When the first rotating shaft and the second rotating shaft approach or move away, the rotary encoder measures the movement amount of the first rotating shaft in relation to the second rotating shaft in an approaching direction or a moving away direction. The entrapment determination part determines whether or not articles are present in the sealed portion based on the movement amount.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a form-fill-seal machine and a form-fill-seal system, with which the thickness of bags can be adjusted easily within a short time. This form-fill-seal machine (1) is provided with seal jaws (54, 74), gas removal members (56, 76), an air cylinder (56b), and a control unit. The seal jaws (54, 74) transverse-seal a cylindrical film (Fc) in a widthwise direction and form a bag (B). The gas removal members (56, 76) come into contact against the bag (B) just prior to transverse sealing of an upper edge part, discharging a gas upward from the bag (B). The air cylinder (56b) moves the gas removal members (56, 76), switching the position of the gas removal members (56, 76) between at least a first position and a second position with respect to the seal jaws (54, 74). The control unit, in a time slot just prior to the start of a transverse sealing action performed by the seal jaws (54, 74), changes the timing of switching between the first position and the second position, and adjusts the amount of gas discharged from the bag (B).

摘要: Provided is a bag making and packaging machine in which a cutter fixed to a sealing member cuts a laterally sealed portion using pressure force with which a pair of sealing members sandwiches a film during lateral sealing, in order to separate bags, the bag making and packaging machine being capable of discharging bags as a continuous package. The bag making and packaging machine for producing bags from the film and packaging goods inside the bags comprises a pair of sealing jaws (51), a knife, a pressurization mechanism (56), and a pressurization mechanism control part. The sealing jaws laterally seal a film. The knife, which is fixed to one sealing jaw (51b), fusion-cuts the laterally sealed portion of the film. The pressurization mechanism exerts pressure force on one sealing jaw (51a) towards the other sealing jaw (51b) so that the pair of sealing jaws sandwiches and laterally seals the film therebetween, and the knife comes into contact with a laterally sealed portion and fusion-cuts the laterally sealed portion. The pressurization mechanism control part causes the pressurization mechanism to cease exerting pressure force based on error information pertaining to the film or the goods.

A bag making and packaging machine (3) is equipped with a pull-down belt mechanism (14) that continuously conveys a tubular film (Fm). The bag making and packaging machine (3) is also equipped with a transverse sealing mechanism (17) that performs transverse sealing using sealing jaws (51, 52) and a gusset forming mechanism (18) that forms gussets (G) in side surface portions of bags (B) that are to be made. The gusset forming mechanism (18) has folding members (18a, 18b) that move along the conveyance direction of the tubular film (Fm) in regions where the folding members (18a, 18b) contact the tubular film (Fm), and the gusset forming mechanism (18) drives these folding members (18a, 18b) so as to press them against parts of the tubular film (Fm).
