The present invention discloses a semi-aromatic polyester, a preparation method therefor and use thereof. The content of hydroxyl in a semi-aromatic polyester is controlled, and particularly, the content of hydroxyl linked to aliphatic dicarboxylic acid in the semi-aromatic polyester is controlled to 17-40 mmol/kg, the content of hydroxyl linked to aromatic dicarboxylic acid in the semi-aromatic polyester is controlled to 17-40 mmol/kg, and the total content of hydroxyl is controlled to 35-80 mmol/kg, such that the compatibility of the semi-aromatic polyester with materials, e.g., polylactic acid can be significantly improved, thereby obtaining a high-strength tear-resistant film material.

The polyester includes repeating units derived from the following components: a first component A, based on the total molar weight of the first component A, including: a1) 81-100 mol% of succinic acid, or an ester derivative thereof or an anhydride derivative thereof, and a2) 0-19 mol% of a dicarboxylic acid other than succinic acid, or an ester derivative thereof or an anhydride derivative thereof; a second component B: 1,4-butanediol; and a third component C: a dimer(1,4-butanediol); based on the total molar weight of the first component A, the molar content of the repeating unit -CH2CH2CH2CH2-O- in the third component C is 0.05-3.0 mol%. In the present invention, the molar content of the repeating unit -CH2CH2CH2CH2-O- in dimer(1,4-butanediol) is controlled to 0.05-3.0 mol%, and thus, the resin color of the polyester can be effectively improved.

The repeating units of the described polyamide resin comprises the following components: dicarboxylic acid units composed 80-100mol% of polyamide resin; aliphatic diamines units having 2-14 carbon atoms composed 80-100mol% of polyamide resin; lactam or amino acid units having 6-14 carbon atoms composed 0-20mol% of polyamide resin; in the described polyamide resin, the bio-based carbon concentration is more than 45%; the described bio-based carbon mole concentration is calculated according to the formula below: bio-based carbon concentration=(bio-based carbon mole content/total organic carbon mole content)*100%. The described polyamide resin in the present invention has low gas volatile, hence the polyamide composition produced thereof has low gas volatile too, and can be applied to food-contact field. In addition, the surface condition after reflow soldering of the polyamide composition produced is good.

The invention discloses an in situ polymerized flame retardant, derived from the following monomers: a diacid monomer A: where A1 is terephthalic acid, A2 is a phosphorus aromatic ring-containing reactive flame-retardant diacid monomer, A1+A2=100 mol%, A1=50 to 90 mol%, A2=10 to 50 mol%; and a diamine monomer B: one or more of diamine monomers containing 4 to 36 carbon atoms. In the present invention, a novel flame retardant is obtained by in situ polymerization of the phosphorus aromatic ring-containing reactive flame-retardant diacid monomers in semi-aromatic polyamide oligomers, which has advantages of no precipitation in the semi-aromatic polyamide and no influence on other properties of the semi-aromatic polyamide and has an excellent flame-retardant property.

The present invention discloses a semiaromatic copolyamide resin and a polyamide molding composition consisting of the same, consisting of following repeat units: (A) 26 to 80 mol% of units derived from para-amino benzoic acid; (B) 4 to 70 mol% of units derived from 11-aminoundecanoic acid or undecanolactam, and 0 to 70 mol% of units derived from other amino acids having 6 to 36 carbon atoms or units consisting of a lactam; (C) 0 to 37 mol% of units derived from a diamine unit having 4 to 36 carbon atoms; and (D) 0 to 37 mol% of units derived from a diacid unit having 6 to 36 carbon atoms; wherein, (A) + (B) + (C) + (D) = 100 mol%; and molar contents of the units derived from para-amino benzoic acid and those derived from 11-aminoundecanoic acid or undecanolactam are not equal to 50 mol% simultaneously. The semiaromatic copolyamide resin of the present invention has property advantages such as high heat resistance, improved color property, excellent flowability and low water absorption, and the polyamide molding composition consisting of the same also has obvious advantage in the properties such as heat resistance, water absorption and color.
