The invention relates to a wiper arm (10) for a windscreen wiper, comprising a fastening element (12) and a hinge element (18) that are interlinked via a folding hinge (54). A tension spring (26), on its one end (28), is hinged to a hinging device (24) of the hinge element (18), and on its other end (30), via a c-shaped bracket (32) to a hinging device (16) of the fastening element (12). In an operational position, said tension spring forces a wiper blade (34) against a windscreen via a wiper rod (22), while in a fold-down position it forces a support face of the hinge element (18) or of the c-shaped bracket (32) against a limit stop of the fastening element (12). Between the operational position and the fold-down position a lock-in position is provided up to which the wiper blade (34) can be lifted from the windshield in a park position without touching the hood.
