摘要： A nasal cushion (6540) for a mask system comprises a side wall defining a breathing chamber, an undercushion (6544) extending from the side wall, and a membrane (6546) that at least partially covers the undercushion (6544). The membrane (6546) is adapted to seal along the nasal bridge, sides of nose, corners of nose, and upper lip of the patient's face in use. The undercushion (6544) is only provided along the side of nose, corner of nose, and upper lip regions (SN, CN, UL) of the cushion (6540). The undercushion (6544) includes a flap or extending portion (6545) in each side of nose region (SN) that is wider than the other regions thereof and adapted to engage and provide a force into the sides of the patient's nose in use.

摘要： The present invention relates to a mask system for delivery of respiratory therapy to a patient. The mask system comprises a sealing portion including a nares portion (20) and a mouth portion. The nares portion comprises a nares sealing portion (22) adapted to form a seal with the patient's nares, a nares portion chamber (49) and a connector (30). The mouth portion comprises a mouth sealing portion (42) adapted to form a seal with the patient's mouth, a mouth portion chamber (49), headgear connectors (41), and a nares portion docking station (56) with an aperture (46) configured to receive and seal with the connector (30) of the nares portion to pneumatically connect the nares portion to the mouth portion chamber (49). The mask system further comprises headgear for retaining the sealing portion in position on the head of the patient, wherein the mouth portion is connectable to at least one inlet conduit, The connector (30) is configured to pneumatically connect the nares portion (20) to the mouth portion chamber (49). The nares portion docking station has a curved upper surface that is shaped to match a curved lower surface of the nares portion.

摘要： The invention relates to a patient interface for sealed delivery of a flow of air at positive pressure. The patient interface comprises a plenum chamber (3200) at least partially forming a breathing chamber pressurisable to a therapeutic pressure above ambient air pressure. The plenum chamber includes a plenum chamber inlet sized and structured to receive a flow of air at the therapeutic pressure for breathing by a patient and a seal-forming structure constructed and arranged to form a seal with a region of the patient's face surrounding an entrance to the patient's airways. The seal-forming structure has an opening formed therein to deliver the flow of air to an entrance to the patient's nares. The plenum chamber (3200) comprises a textile outer layer (3210), a textile inner layer (3212) and a foam interior (3211) disposed therebetween. The textile outer layer and the textile inner layer are respectively joined to opposing sides of the foam interior.
