摘要: A patient interface for delivery of a supply of pressurised air or breathable gas to an entrance to a patient's airways comprising a frame assembly having walls and configured to be disposed over nares of the patient and extending along a generally elliptical path that covers outer peripheries of the nares including alar sidewalls and a portion of a columella of the patient, the frame assembly defining a plenum chamber between its walls and the patient's skin; and a sealing element capable of forming a seal against skin that surrounds both nares of the patient without being partially located inside the patient's nose, the sealing element being less rigid than the frame assembly and having an adhesive on at least one side of the sealing element, the sealing element being coupleable to an anterior wall of the frame assembly.

摘要: The present invention discloses a multistage blower, comprising: a blower housing comprising an inlet and a plurality of stator vanes, and wherein the plurality of stator vanes are formed on an inner wall of the blower housing; a motor shaft; and a rotor coupled to the motor shaft and comprising a plurality of axial blades on an axially extending wall of the rotor, wherein the plurality of axial blades are arranged in a plurality of axial rotor stages; and wherein the rotor comprises a centrifugal stage at the top positioned towards the inlet, wherein, when the rotor is contained within the blower housing, the plurality of axial rotor stages align with the housing to form a plurality of axial stages, wherein the axially-extending wall of the rotor forms a part of an annular flow path; wherein, in use, air travels from the centrifugal stage downstream through the annular flow path through the plurality of axial stages.

摘要: The invention relates to a patient interface for sealed delivery of a flow of air at positive pressure. The patient interface comprises a plenum chamber (3200) at least partially forming a breathing chamber pressurisable to a therapeutic pressure above ambient air pressure. The plenum chamber includes a plenum chamber inlet sized and structured to receive a flow of air at the therapeutic pressure for breathing by a patient and a seal-forming structure constructed and arranged to form a seal with a region of the patient's face surrounding an entrance to the patient's airways. The seal-forming structure has an opening formed therein to deliver the flow of air to an entrance to the patient's nares. The plenum chamber (3200) comprises a textile outer layer (3210), a textile inner layer (3212) and a foam interior (3211) disposed therebetween. The textile outer layer and the textile inner layer are respectively joined to opposing sides of the foam interior.
