    摘要: A cloth evaluation apparatus can grasp the piercing property and the cutting property with a cloth in advance. The cloth evaluation apparatus (1) comprising: a measuring member (21, 71, 81) having, on its distal side, a measuring part (22) to pass through a cloth (c, d); a cloth/measuring part moving means (30, 40) for moving the cloth (c, d) or the measuring member (21, 71) so that the measuring part (22) passes through the cloth (c, d); a cloth supporting means (23, 23', 31') for supporting the cloth (c, d) at around a passing-through point, in the cloth (c, d), of the measuring part (22) from both sides of the cloth (c, d) when the measuring part (22) passes through the cloth (c, d); and a load detecting means (25) for detecting a load being applied to the measuring member (21, 71) while the measuring part (22) passes through the cloth (c, d). The measuring part (22) includes a piercing force measuring portion (22A, 72A) whose outer diameter gradually decreases toward its acute tip (22A') and, after the tip (22A') sticks the cloth (c, d), the piercing force measuring portion (22A, 72A) can pass through the cloth (c, d) while expanding a grain of the cloth (c, d). The measuring part (22) also includes a cutting force measuring portion (22B, 72B) adjacent proximally to the piercing force measuring portion (22A, 72A), the cutting force measuring portion (22B, 72B) having a shear face (22Bb) which can push a part of the cloth (c, d) in the passing direction to separate the part from the cloth (c, d) as the measuring part (22) passes through the cloth (c, d).

A shank receiving space (13) of the button body (10) for receiving the shank (22) is provided with a shank receiving small diameter portion (13a) which receives the shank distal end (22a) and which has an axial length larger than that of the distal end (22a), a shank receiving large diameter portion (13b, 13b') which receives a distal side part of the shank proximal portion (22b), and a shank receiving stepped portion (13c). The shank receiving stepped portion (13c) has a stepped portion edge (13d) boundary with the small diameter portion (13a). When the button is attached to cloth (f, F), the shank receiving stepped portion (13c) bumps into the shank stepped portion (22c), causing the stepped portion edge (13d) to stick into the shank proximal portion (22b).

    摘要: There is provided a method for subjecting garment accessories to a surface electrolytic treatment, which can advantageously provide various metallic colors to metallic garment accessories in a cost effective manner. The method can provide a first metallic color on one side of outer surface of the garment accessory while at the same time providing a second metallic color on the other side of the outer surface, by placing one or more metallic garment accessories in an electrolytic solution in a non-contact state with an anode and a cathode for passing electric current through the electrolytic solution, passing electric current through the electrolytic solution and generating a bipolar phenomenon on the garment accessory. The method may further comprise the step of controlling the posture of the garment accessory such that the one side of the outer surface of the garment accessory faces the anode and the other side faces the cathode during passing electric current through the electrolytic solution. The method may further comprise the step of polishing at least a part of the outer surface of the garment accessory during passing electric current through the electrolytic solution.
