摘要: Using the medium of the present invention for inducing a cornea endothelial substitute cell from an iPS cell, the medium containing an insulin-like growth factor and a STAT3 activator, and not containing a basic fibroblast growth factor or a ROCK inhibitor, and the method of the present invention for inducing corneal endothelial substitute cells from iPS cells by using the medium, it becomes possible to efficiently produce corneal endothelial substitute cells, particularly to efficiently produce corneal endothelial substitute cells from iPS cells. Furthermore, it becomes possible to stably produce large amounts of corneal endothelial substitute cells by inducing differentiation of iPS cells into corneal endothelial substitute cells more efficiently.

摘要: An object is to improve the decision accuracy of electroencephalograms. An electroencephalogram decision system (10) determines, when finding electroencephalogram information representing an electroencephalogram obtained by an electrode unit (11) placed on a region of interest that forms part of a subject's (5) head (52) satisfying a predetermined condition, that a target electroencephalogram, which is an electroencephalogram with a characteristic variation, should have been produced. The predetermined condition is selected from a plurality of detection conditions including a first type of condition and a second type of condition. The first type of condition specifies that a decision should be made, based on a component falling within a single frequency band included in the electroencephalogram represented by the electroencephalogram information, whether or not the target electroencephalogram has been produced. The second type of condition specifies that a decision should be made, based on components falling within multiple different frequency bands included in the electroencephalogram represented by the electroencephalogram information, whether or not the target electroencephalogram has been produced.
