摘要: The invention relates to an anesthesia ventilation device for providing automated ventilation to a patient, comprising: an expiratory port and an inspiratory port for connecting a ventilation tube for respiratory gas and facing the patient; a respiratory gas delivery unit; at least one volumetric flow rate sensor for detecting a volumetric flow rate of the respiratory gas; at least one respiratory gas sensor for detecting a carbon dioxide concentration and at least one pressure sensor for detecting a pressure of the respiratory gas; and, in addition, at least one computing unit which is designed to control, in a first operating mode, the respiratory gas delivery unit depending on a predetermined respiratory rate, the detected pressure and a predetermined set pressure value, wherein the computing unit is also designed to detect the presence of a desired operating state with regard to the automated ventilation on the basis of the detected volumetric flow rate and the detected carbon dioxide concentration and in addition, when this is detected, to enable a transition into a second operating mode.

摘要: The present invention generally relates to systems for delivery of therapeutic gas to patients in need thereof using enhanced breathing circuit gas (BCG) flow measurement. At least some of these enhanced BCG flow measurements (119) can be used to address some surprising phenomena that may, at times, occur when wild stream blending therapeutic gas into breathing gas that a patient receives from a breathing circuit affiliated with a ventilator (117). Utilizing at least some of these enhanced BCG flow measurements the dose of therapeutic gas wild stream blended into breathing gas that the patient receives from a ventilator can at least be more accurate and/or over delivery of therapeutic gas into the breathing gas can be avoided and/or reduced.

摘要: The disclosed method of monitoring the cuff pressure of an LMAprovides an estimation of a patient's anesthetic state. Cuff pressure tends to rise and fall during IPPV and spontaneous breathing. One of the disclosed methods activates an alarm if an instantaneous value of the cuff pressure exceeds selected levels. This method may also automatically adjust the selected levels. One of the disclosed methods activates an alarm if activity of the cuff pressure as observed over a period of time exceeds a selected level.

摘要: A patient holding hospital unit is described. The patient holding hospital unit has a supporting surface configured to receive a patient and a life support system. The supporting surface has a container restrained to the supporting surface that contains an anesthesia machine, reservoirs and related ducts, perfusion devices, an automatic control system, a power supply unit, a power supply line. The container also has dispensing valves arranged on an external surface of the container together with a control interface and the supply valves and electric connector of the power supply line are arranged at a connecting member adapted to be mounted to a base member configured to supply gases under pressure to the reservoirs and power to the control system.
