摘要: An irradiation device (142) for additively manufacturing a three-dimensional object includes two beam generation devices (300a, 300b) emitting energy beams (144a, 144b) characteristically different than one another. An optical modulator (302) includes a micromirror array (306) disposed downstream from the beam generation devices (300a, 300b). A focusing lens assembly (312) is disposed downstream from the optical modulator (302). The micromirror array (306) includes micromirror elements (308) to reflect beam segments corresponding to the first and second energy beams (144a, 144b) incident upon the focusing lens assembly (312). The focusing lens assembly (312) focuses beam segments corresponding to the first energy beam (144a) to at least partially overlap with one another at a first combination zone (334a) and focuses beam segments corresponding to the second energy beam (144b) to at least partially overlap with each other at a second combination zone (334b).

The method (300) further includes selectively directing a second energy beam (134b) across the powder bed (134) along a plurality of second hatching paths (151b) and a second contour path (210) that at least partially defines a second edge portion (153b) of the outer edge (153) of the three-dimensional object (114), wherein the second edge portion (153b) is adjacent the first edge portion (153a), and wherein the first stitching portion (194) extends into the plurality of second hatching paths (153b) along a non-linear stitching path (200).

摘要: An additive manufacturing system may include an additive manufacturing machine and a control system. The additive manufacturing machine may include one or more irradiation devices respectively including a beam source configured to emit an energy beam, an optical assembly that has one or more optical elements configured to focus the energy beam emitted by the beam source, a beam source sensor configured to determine a beam source sensor value from a source measurement beam representative of the energy beam prior to the energy beam passing through one or more optical elements of the optical assembly, and an optics sensor configured to determine an optics sensor value from an optics measurement beam representative of the energy beam downstream from the one or more optical elements of the optical assembly. The control system may include an irradiation control module configured to provide one or more control commands to the additive manufacturing machine based at least in part on the beam source sensor value and/or based at least in part on the optics sensor value.
