Verfahren zum Verschweißen von Blechzuschnitten zu Patchwork Blanks mit folgenden Schritten: - Bereitstellen der zu verschweißenden Blechzuschnitte (2, 3) zur Handhabung mittels Handhabungsrobotern (HR1, HR2); - Die Handhabungsroboter (HR1, HR2) platzieren einen ersten Blechzuschnitt (2) und wenigstens einen weiteren Blechzuschnitt (3) in einer ausgerichteten Position auf dem ersten Blechzuschnitt (2), wobei die Handhabungsroboter (HR1, HR2) den ersten Blechzuschnitt (2) auf einem Zentriertisch (4) in einer Zentrierposition positionieren, wo er mit dem wenigstens einen weiteren Blechzuschnitt (3) vorfixiert wird; - Der wenigstens eine weitere Blechzuschnitt (3) wird mit dem ersten Blechzuschnitt (2) durch Punktschweißen mittels eines ersten Schweißroboters (WR1) vorfixiert; - Die vorfixierten Blechbauteile (2, 3) werden mittels eines Handhabungsroboters (HR2) an ein Schweißkarussell (5) übergeben und dort in im wesentlichen vertikaler Position an einem Halter (11) fixiert, wobei an dem Halter (11) wenigstens eine universale Klemmvorrichtung (13) für flache Blechzuschnitte (2, 3) angeordnet ist, wobei die wenigstens eine Klemmvorrichtung (13) die Blechzuschnitte (2, 3) an einem Randbereich umgreift; - Das Schweißkarussell (5) führt die vorfixierten Blechbauteile (2, 3) an mehreren Schweißrobotern (WR1, WR2, WR3, WR4) vorbei, um weitere Punktschweißungen auszuführen, wobei ein Be- und Entladen des Schweißkarussells (5) parallel zum Schweißprozess ausgeführt wird; - Abschließend erreicht das fertige Patchwork Blank (6) eine Übergabeposition des Schweißkarussells (5), wo es von einem Handhabungsroboter (HR3) entnommen wird.

Disclosed is a machine (M1) for use in processing of rubber cot arbours assembly. The machine (M1) includes a first rotary disc (300) being driven rotatably by a first driving unit (700) and comprising four holding stations (301,302,303,304) for holding the rubber cot arbours. The machine also includes a second rotary disc (400) being driven rotatably by a second driving unit (700a) and comprising four processing stations (200,200a,200b,200c) for enabling the processing of rubber cot arbours. Each of the four processing stations (200,200a,200b,200c) comprises a gripping assembly to hold the rubber cot arbours (11,12) for screwing and unscrewing purpose. The machine further includes a pair of screwing and unscrewing assembly (100,100a) for screwing and unscrewing of the fastening means. A plurality of loading unit and unloading unit are provided for loading and unloading of the rubber cot arbours, on and from, the holding stations (301,302,303,304) of first rotary disc and processing stations (200,200a,200b,200c) of second rotary disc. A master processing and controlling unit (600) controls operations of the first driving unit, second driving unit, processing stations, screwing and unscrewing assemblies, loading units, unloading units. All abovementioned components of the machine are fixed on a mounting assembly (800).
