There is disclosed herein a floor covering comprising a primary backing having a fibrous face and an underside; optionally a cured precoat layer on the underside of the primary backing; and a microwave cured thermoplastic backing layer fixed to the primary backing. There is also provided a method of making a floor covering comprising tufting or implanting a fibrous material or yarn into a primary backing; optionally precoating the underside of the primary backing layer by applying a precoating composition followed by curing the precoating; applying a thermoplastic backing layer to the optionally precoated primary backing layer; and microwave curing the thermoplastic backing layer. An apparatus for curing a thermoplastic backing layer of a carpet is also described.

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a label laminate. The method includes forming at least one water based adhesive layer on a belt, drying said at least one water based adhesive layer on the belt, unwinding a first material layer, unwinding a second material layer, attaching said at least one dried water based adhesive layer to the surface of the first material layer, and laminating the first material layer comprising at least one water based adhesive layer together with the second material layer in order to form the label laminate. The invention also relates to a label laminate and to a system for manufacturing a label laminate.

The invention relates to a method for the separation of composites bodies, comprising at least one inner layer or a core of foam and an outer layer, at least partly covering the foam layer or the foam core, made from a textile material, plastic, synthetic leather or leather. According to the invention, a simple separation of the composite bodies, as selective as possible can be achieved, whereby a fluid is applied in the transition region between the inner layer or the core and the outer layer or outer sleeve. The composite body is then subjected to a microwave or ultrasound treatment.
