    Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide a work-machine that can facilitate attachment of an air conditioner main body. In a work vehicle, an air conditioner main body arrangement part for arranging therein an air conditioner main body is provided in a ceiling part of a cabin covering a driver unit, in such a manner that the air conditioner main body arrangement part protrudes rearward from a pair of left and right rear strut pieces of the cabin.     Abstract: The invention relates to a compressor 23 in a heat pump system 2 is housed inside a compressor housing 30. The compressor housing 30 can be temporarily set in a sealed state via opening/closing means 35 and 36. When the air present around the compressor 23 is trapped inside the compressor housing 30 in the sealed state, the heat generated at the compressor 23 can be transferred to and stored in the air around the compressor 23. As a result, the heat at the compressor 23 is retained in the air surrounding the compressor 23, so as to raise the temperature of the heat exchanging medium discharge from the compressor 23. The invention provides a heat pump system that stores heat generated at a compressor in air present around the compressor and consequently is able to raise the temperature of heat exchanging medium flowing from the compressor into an inside heat exchanger through targeted use of existing energy in the heat pump system in the form of heat generated at the compressor.

    Abstract: A transportation refrigeration unit (24) to provide a flow of supply air to a selected space includes a compressor to compress a flow of refrigerant and an engine (36) powered by a flow of fuel and operably connected to the compressor to drive the compressor. An evaporator circulates the flow of refrigerant therethrough to cool the supply air and includes a substantially unitary evaporator housing (50) having a supply air inlet opening (52) and a supply air outlet opening (56). An evaporator coil (32) is located in the evaporator housing, the flow of refrigerant circulating across the evaporator coil. An evaporator fan (34) is located in the evaporator housing to urge the supply airflow into the evaporator housing via the supply air inlet opening (52), across the evaporator coil (32) and out of the evaporator housing through the supply air outlet opening (56). The evaporator fan (34) can be located upstream or downstream of the evaporator coil (32).

In this heat-pump-type air-conditioning device, a muffler (11) for suppressing pulsation in the coolant discharged from the electric compressor (10) is provided at a position partway along the coolant discharge pipe (31), (32), and the muffler (11) is disposed in a position higher up in the vehicle than the than a coolant discharge port (10b) of the electric compressor (10). A coolant inflow port (11a) of the muffler (11) is set at a position higher up in the vehicle than the than a coolant outflow port (11b) of the muffler (11).
