    摘要: An automated smear making apparatus used to prepare and smear samples on glass slides. In some embodiments a smearing subsystem generally includes a smear cartridge having an input reel, a deflection component, a take-up reel, and a smearing tape. The smearing tape may include a plurality of perforations formed therein. The smearing tape may be wrapped around the deflection component such that each of the plurality of perforations forms a blade that extends from the smearing tape to expose a smear surface as the smearing tape is drawn into the take-up reel. A slide transport surface is also provided to move a slide across the smear surface.

    摘要: The invention concerns a solenoid valve (15,16) including a fixed core (110), a movable core (120) and a coil (130). A first valve seat member (140) and a second valve seat member (150) are fixed in the fixed core (110) and a valve body member (170) is disposed therebetween. A spring member (180) is interposed between the valve body member (170) and the second valve seat member (150) such that the valve body member (170) is normally seated on the first valve seat member (140). The valve body member (170) can move away from the first valve seat member (140) to be seated on the second valve seat member (150), by being pushed by the movable core (120).
