    摘要: A multicolor development glass vessel of high surface hardness whose color is differentiated depending on the direction of viewing the glass vessel; and a process for producing the same. There is provided a multicolor development glass vessel comprising a glass vessel and, directly or indirectly superimposed on an external surface and internal surface, or either one thereof, of the glass vessel by vapor deposition or sputtering technique, a multilayer film composed of, for example, two types of vapor deposition layers whose refractive indices differ from each other by 0.1 or greater alternately piled one upon the other. Further, there is provided a process for producing such a multicolor development glass vessel, comprising the steps of: (1) providing a glass vessel, and (2) superimposing a multilayer film composed of multiple vapor deposition layers whose refractive indices differ from each other on an external surface and internal surface, or either one thereof, of the glass vessel by vapor deposition or sputtering technique.

    摘要: A polylactic acid formed body comprising a polylactic acid base material 1 and a hydrocarbon film 3 vapor-deposited on the surface of the base material by the plasma CVD method, wherein the polylactic acid base material 1 exhibits a sharp X-ray diffraction peak in which a half-width of peak appearing in the 10° - 25° wide angle X-ray measurement is not more than 1.22°, and the hydrocarbon film 3 is vapor-deposited on the surface of the polylactic acid base material 1, and includes two layers of a high CH 2 layer 3a having a ratio of CH 2 per the total of CH, CH 2 and CH 3 of not less than 40% and a low CH 2 layer 3b formed on the high CH 2 layer 3a and having a ratio of CH 2 per the total of CH, CH 2 and CH 3 of not more than 35%. The polylactic acid formed body has the hydrocarbon film vapor-deposited on the polylactic acid base material maintaining very close adhesion through a continuous plasma CVD step without the need of changing over the reaction gas and without causing the polylactic acid base material to be thermally deformed or thermally deteriorated.
