The invention relates to packaging for multi-component adhesives with: (I) a resin component which contains (a) at least one radically polymerizable compound, (b) at least one compound polymerizable by addition, (c) an accelerator, as necessary (d) an inhibitor and (e) a compound with two functional groups, of which one can (co)polymerize radically and the other by addition; and (II) a hardener component which contains (A) at least one hardening agent for addition polymerization and (B) at least one radical initiator. The packaging comprises a first section A1, which contains at least three individual components of the multi-component adhesive, and a second section A2, which contains at least two individual components of the multi-component adhesive. The individual components of the multi-component adhesive are distributed over the two sections A1 and A2 in such a manner that a reaction between the individual components is prevented and the adhesive will only harden once the individual components have been fully mixed. This makes stable storage of the components possible.

The method comprises treating a fibrous base material with one or more salt(s) of receptor species to provide a pre-coated fibrous base material comprising specific inorganic receptor sites within the fibrous base material. The one or more salt(s) of receptor species is selected from the groups comprising: (a) aluminium salts; (b) titanium salts; (c) zirconium salts; (d) iron salts; (e) soluble alkali silicates; or a combination thereof. The method further comprises coating the treated fibrous base material with a coating formulation comprising one or more compound(s) containing epoxy and alkoxysilane groups. The coating formulation acts as an adhesion promoter and cross-linker.

The present invention also relates to a method for preparing individual food item portions for baking wherein a plurality of food item portions are disposed on a planar sheet of ovenable material capable of being transformed from the compact configuration to a flat planar configuration and changing the sheet from the compact configuration to the flat planar configuration to arrange the food item portions on the sheet for baking. The food items may include appetizers, entrees, or dessert type items, including sweet doughs.
