The conversion occurs at a temperature of greater than 100 °C in a solvent mixture which contains DMSO and water. The invention further relates to an absorbent produced by means of the method according to the invention and to a substrate coated with such an absorbent and application possibilities of such an absorbent or substrate.

The present invention relates to a process for preparing a silicon dioxide composition comprising mesoporous silicon dioxide particles itself and a use thereof. In particular, the present invention relates to a process for preparing silicon dioxide composition with particulate structure and having high BET (Brunauer-Emmet-Teller) surface area and excellent sorption properties. The process is based on using water glass as a cheap precursor, which is precipitated by controlled addition of acid in the presence of surfactant as structure directing agent at constant pH values.

The method of obtaining the CMK-3-type carbon replica, consisting of the introduction of SBA-15-type molecular sieve to a mixture of furfuryl alcohol and a solvent, the subsequent polycondensation of furfuryl alcohol, carbonization of the prepared, composite and removal of the hard template, according to the invention, is characterised in that the reaction of furfuryl alcohol polycondensation is carried out by the precipitation method in a slurry containing SBA-15 silica sieve, water, furfuryl alcohol and concentrated solution of hydrochloric acid in mass ratios, respectively, in the range from 1.00:32.33:1.00:6.65 to 1.00:30.83:2.50:16.64, whereas the ratio of the total mass of furfuryl alcohol and water to the mass of SBA-15 as well as the mass ratio of the concentrated HCI solution to the mass of furfuryl alcohol are kept at the constant value every time.

The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of zeolites having B-CHA framework structure and a composition comprising the molar ratio (n SiO 2 ) : B 2 O 3 , wherein n is at least 10, the process comprising (i) preparation of an aqueous solution containing at least one source for B 2 O 3 , at least one source for SiO 2 , at least one source of seeding crystals of chabazite structure, at least one organic structure directing agent (SDA) other than Tetramethylammonium hydroxide (TMAOH), acting as a template for the B-CHA structure, and Tetramethylammonium hydroxide (TMAOH), wherein the SDA or mixtures thereof are employed in such amounts that the aqueous solution in (i) exhibits a molar ratio of SDA : TMAOH of 0.01 to 5; (ii) hydrothermal crystallization of the aqueous solution according to (i); wherein the ratio of the [molar ratio (SiO 2 : B 2 O 3 )] of the gel composition : [molar ratio (SiO 2 : B 2 O 3 )] of the crystalline product having the chabazite structure is greater than 0.5.
