Abstract:
The knitting method of the present invention includes a thick portion knitting step S1 of forming at least one complete thick portion texture 10S by continuously repeating a thick portion knitting substep S102 to S106 n times (n is an integer equal to or larger than 5) while alternating yarn feeding directions, the thick portion knitting substep including feeding a knitting yarn once to a needle row made up of n knitting needles 1 to p. The thick portion knitting substep S102 to S106 performs knit stitch formation and tuck stitch formation on at least one each of the knitting needles and performs miss stitch formation on at least n - 3 or more knitting needles.

Abstract:
A knitted fabric for winterweight garments comprising two confronting webs, one overlying the other and united at intervals by a stitch of the yarn of one web engaging the other web. One of the webs has thick and thin yarns grouped in adjacent courses, the grouped courses of thick yarns alternating with the grouped courses of thin yarns to produce a ridged effect in the web. The thick yarns produce ridge lines and the thin yarns intermediate said ridge lines produce air-entrapping channels in the one web. The other web is preferably smooth on both surfaces. When fabricated into a garment the ridged web is on the inside and the smooth web is on the outside of the garment.
Abstract:
Provided is a water-repellent woven or knitted fabric having excellent lightweightness and a feeling with sufficient anti-drape and stiffness and also having significantly superior water repellency associated with Lotus effect. A water-repellent woven or knitted fabric which contains a mixed entangled yarn and has a water-repellent agent adhered onto the surface thereof. The mixed entangled yarn is configured from a polyester fiber A having a single fiber fineness of 0.2 to 0.9 dtex and a total fineness of 30 to 100 dtex and a polyester fiber B having a single fiber fineness of 1.0 to 5.0 dtex and a total fineness of 30 to 100 dtex. The single fiber fineness ratio (A/B) of the polyester fiber A to the polyester fiber B is in the range from 1/20 to 1/5. The mass ratio (A/B) of the polyester fiber A to the polyester fiber B is in the range from 20/80 to 80/20. On the surface portion of the mixed entangled yarn, protrusions of the polyester fiber A are formed. The elongation percentage (a fixed loading method, load: 14.7 N) of the fabric as measured in accordance with JIS L 1096:2010 is 3% or less in the case where the fabric has a woven form and is 120% or less in the case where the fabric has a knitted form.
Abstract:
A repositioning device and a garment (101), to be used in daily activities or exercise, correct one's posture to a proper ideal one and create superior body balance. A posture molding method and a training instruction method utilize the repositioning device and the garment. The repositioning device contains a vibration generator inside a case. From the vibration generator, vibratory stimulation is provided to the skin on a human body surface, thereby promoting neurotransmission in muscles. The garment (101) is equipped with point stimulation parts (10a) and/or surface stimulation parts (10b) for promoting facilitation and inhibition of neurotransmission in muscles, respectively. In molding a posture or giving training instructions, a practitioner/trainer utilizes the repositioning device and the garment (101) to facilitate and/or inhibit neurotransmission in muscles.
Abstract:
A girdle (A-A1) for tights or pantyhose, in which the regions that constitute the panty and the initial portions of the stretch hose are constituted by a tuck-stitch mesh (A), formed starting from a plain background mesh so as to obtain, by combining and knitting in three dimensions particular conventional threads and elastic threads which are conveniently woven together, a mesh having alternating undulations (3,3a,4,4a,11b,11c) which are considerably in relief with respect to the plain mesh, such as to generate an adequate compression and thus a massaging and tonic action in the regions of the body contained in the girdle.
