摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a small, light coolant-pump device equipped with a filter, said coolant-pump device not requiring regular maintenance. The present invention is provided with: a positive-displacement pump (9); a cyclone filter (12) provided on the intake side of the positive-displacement pump; and a non-positive-displacement pump (40) provided on the intake side of the cyclone filter (12). The cyclone filter (12) contains a primary cyclone (20) and a secondary cyclone (30) each provided with a mechanism (outlet (20c and 30c)) through which separated foreign substances (cutting debris and the like) are expelled. The present invention is set such that the discharge rate of the non-positive-displacement pump (40) is higher than the discharge rate of the positive-displacement pump (9).The positive-displacement pump (9), cyclone filter (12), and non-positive-displacement pump (40) are connected in a vertical straight line.

摘要: A fuel pumping unit has a low pressure centrifugal pump (42) and a high pressure centrifugal pump (44). In use, the low pressure pump supplies fuel at a boosted pressure to the high pressure pump for onward supply to a fuel metering unit (FMU). The pumping unit further has a drive input (30) which drives the low and high pressure pumps. A gear arrangement (32,34,36) is operatively located between the drive input and the low and high pressure pumps such that the low and high pressure pumps are driven at different speeds by the drive input. Further, a selector valve (46) is provided to select between a high pressure mode where both pumps (42,44) are connected in series or a low pressure mode where only the low pressure pump (42) provides fuel to FMU. Further, a positive displacement pump (60) is foreseen for a start-up mode.

摘要: The invention relates to a double pump consisting of a radial piston pump (1) and a vane-cell pump (2). The double pump is to be simplified in such a way that its overall length is reduced and there is only one casing separation. The radial piston pump (1) has a ring insert (8) fitted in an aperture (5) in the casing (4) with a moulded face plate to seal a pump set (20, 21, 22) of the vane-cell pump (2). One frontal surface (23) of the face plate belonging to the ring insert (8) together with the casing (1) also forms a dividing seam between the two pumps (1 and 2). Only one annular seal (35) is needed to seal the dividing seam. The ring insert (8) with a concentric drilling (36) also serves as a shaft (6) bearing and an axial stop face (38) in the region of the eccentric (12).

摘要: High pressure injection apparatus (2) for addition of a liquid formulation into a melt stream comprises a first pump which is arranged to accurately meter the liquid formulation (including highly loaded formulations comprising solids comprising particles of relatively large size) and a second pump which boosts the pressure of the formulation to that of the melt stream into which it is to be injected. In an embodiment, the apparatus includes a tank (4) for initially receiving liquid formulation. The tank is subjected to ambient temperature and pressure and need not be stirred or otherwise agitated. The tank is arranged to deliver the formulation via pipe (6) into a first pump (8) (which may be a diaphragm pump or a progressing cavity pump). The pump is arranged to work at a pressure up to 120 bar to boost pressure. Downstream of pump (8), a pipe (10) is arranged to deliver formulation from the pump ()8 to a gear pump (12), driven by a motor (13). The gear pump acts to meter the liquid formulation. In an alternative embodiment, apparatus may include a progressing cavity pump to meter formulation and a gear pump to increase pressure. The apparatus may be used to inject a fluid formulation into a melted polymeric material.
