An oil reservoir space (45) for storing oil is formed between the inner circumferential surface (39a) of the oil catch member (39) and the outer circumferential surface (21a) of the rotary shaft (21), the oil reservoir space (45) being in communication with a clearance gap (37) between the outer circumferential surface (21a) of the rotary shaft (21) and an inner circumferential surface (36a) of a bore (36) of the first clutch member (25).

On the inner side of a rigid plug (6) of the wave generator (5), a plug support ring (11) is secured and integrated. The rigid plug (6) is formed from an iron-based material, and the plug support ring (11) is formed from a high-rigidity material that is more rigid than the iron-based material. Since deformation of the rigid plug (6) is suppressed, the wave generator (5) provided with a large hollow part (9) can be obtained.
