    摘要: A power transmission has a plurality of parallel axes on each of which is disposed a shaft (26,48,56) supporting a pair of selectively operable friction torque transmitting devices and gear members. One of the parallel axes supports an input shaft (26), which is drivingly connected to two of the other shafts through one-way devices (46,54) and a chain drive (40). A transfer shaft (76) is disposed in parallel with the other axes to transmit drive forces from the interconnected shafts to an output shaft (90,92). The transfer shaft has a gear member (74,72) meshing with the gear members (68,106,98 64,108,106) on the input driven shafts, which is effective to transmit the drive to the output shaft, which in turn is connected to a conventional output assembly such as a differential.

    摘要: A vehicle power output device for driving a first and second rotary electric machine (24, 64) in an efficient range in a wide driving region and for eliminating the need for a complicated mechanism and control. A planetary gear mechanism (30) combines the rotational drive force of a first shaft (26) rotationally driven by a first rotary electric machine (24) and the rotational drive force of a second shaft (66) rotationally driven by a second rotary electric machine (64) and transmits the combined rotational drive force to a drive shaft (32) with the rotational speed increased. The rotational drive force of the second shaft (66) in the forward direction is transmitted to the planetary gear mechanism (30) via a first one-way clutch unit (72) and a first power transmitting mechanism. The rotational drive force of the second shaft (66) in the opposite direction is transmitted to the drive shaft via a second one-way clutch unit (74) and a second power transmitting mechanism.
