Methods are provided for reuse of a sludge from a waste fiber supply including an organic fraction and an inorganic fraction. Generally, methods include converting the sludge by burning the sludge to remove a majority of the organic fraction and produce an ash with inorganic materials in an amount of at least about 80% by weight of the ash and adding the ash to a plastic pyrolysis system in an effective amount to remove at least a portion of one or more contaminants from a plastic feed stream of the plastic pyrolysis system. Integrated recycling systems also are provided and include a fiber recovery system; a means for at least partially dewatering a sludge; a burner; and a pyrolyzer.

Pressurized fluidized bed furnace equipment includes a fluidized bed furnace (1) that pressurizes combustion air (B) and combusts a material to be treated (A) while fluidizing the same; an air preheater (3) that exchanges heat between a combustion exhaust gas (C) discharged from the fluidized bed furnace (1) and the combustion air (B); a dust collector (4) that removes dust from the combustion exhaust gas (C); and first and second superchargers (5, 6) to which the combustion exhaust gas (C), having undergone the heat exchange in the air preheater (3) and the dust removal in the dust collector (4), is supplied to generate compressed air (D, E). The first compressed air (D) generated in the first supercharger (5) is supplied as the combustion air (B) to the fluidized bed furnace (1) by way of the air preheater (3), and the second compressed air (E) generated in the second supercharger (6) is made to have a higher pressure than that of the first compressed air (D). Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the equipment from having more superchargers than is necessary for normal use although a plurality of first and second superchargers are provided, and to efficiently use the surplus combustion exhaust gas.

The subject of the invention is an effluent treatment method comprising a step of dehydrating/drying the effluent inside at least one drying oven (2) supplied with hot gas by at least one burner (9) using a fuel. This method is characterized in that it comprises an additional step of separately treating a fatty fraction of the effluent, this step consisting in partial dehydration of a fatty fraction of the effluent and supplying combustible fats used to supply at least one burner (9). A method is provided for heavy metal stabilisation comprising: mixing waste, comprising heavy metals, with molecular sieve with the proviso that carbon-based molecular sieve is excluded, and clay; and vitrifying the mixture. In particular, a method comprising the steps of: preparing a pre-stabilised mixture by mixing waste, comprising heavy metals, with the molecular sieve, and optionally other chemicals; mixing the pre-stabilised mixture with clay; and vitrifying the obtained mixture is provided. It also provides a product comprising heavy metals that have been stabilised into the structure of the clay-based ceramic matrix, wherein the product is a vitrified product of a mixture of at least waste, comprising heavy metals, molecular sieve (with the proviso that carbon-based molecular sieve is excluded) and clay.
