摘要: Failure detection accuracy is improved by providing: an accumulated data storage unit 30; a unit space generating module 13 which extracts, from the accumulated data storage unit, sensor values for a unit space to be used by an MT system, and which generates the unit space using condition sensor values which influence other sensor values, sensor values which are not influenced by the condition sensor values, and other sensor values which have either been nondimensionalized by module of the condition sensor values or have been adjusted by module of the condition sensor values; a signal space generating module 14 which, when a plurality of sensor values to be detected are input, uses without modification the condition sensor values and the sensor values that are not influenced by the condition sensor values, and uses the other sensor values, which have either been nondimensionalized by module of the condition sensor values or have been adjusted by module of the condition sensor values, to form a signal space; and an assessing module 16 which compares a distance, representing the relationship between the generated unit space and the generated signal space, with a certain threshold, to assess whether or not there is a possibility that any of the sensors have failed.

摘要: A control module capable of operating on one of first and second vehicles can include a) a module output table comprising a superset of module output elements comprising a first subset of module output elements related to a first set of hardware devices provided on the first vehicle and a second subset of module output elements related to a second set of hardware devices provided on the second vehicle; b) vehicle function output elements related to vehicle function outputs utilized on the first and second vehicles; and c) a configuration table comprising configuration elements corresponding to the module output elements. The module can also include computer-based structure for determining a value of a vehicle function output element corresponding to a module output element of the module output table, transforming the value to the transformed value, and storing the transformed value based on the corresponding module output element.

摘要: The present invention features a material handling vehicle identification system. The material handling vehicle has a universal system processor for controlling the vehicle speed, acceleration, direction and motion of a plurality of different vehicles. A semiconductor memory device is permanently affixed to the chassis of the vehicle during the manufacturing process. This memory device contains a unique identification tag. The identification tag is remotely disposed from, but operatively connected to the system processor. The identification tag includes data for uniquely identifying the material handling vehicle. The system processor can control the performance of the vehicle as a function of the data in the identification tag, whereby the system processor becomes customized to operate consistent only with the vehicle in which it is installed.

摘要: A controller for a lift, includes a communication module configured to wirelessly transmit data relating to the personnel operating and operating conditions of a lift to a remotely located station. The remote station wirelessly sends satisfaction or non-satisfaction messages to the lift controller in response to received input data or sensed conditions relating to the operation of the lift. The lift controller includes circuitry for obtaining and/or storing the sensed conditions and received input data, where the communication module then transmits this information to a remote station using a wireless network either public or private depending on the desired application. In accordance with one implementation, the sensed conditions can include a lift state, a motion of the lift, a load applied to the lift, a lift temperature, a hydraulic fluid pressure, a wait time for recharging a hydraulic pump, an operator safety condition and a number of cycles of operation of the lift. The operator safety conditions may include, for example, whether the operator is using both hands for inputting a command into the lift controller, whether the vehicle is properly parked, whether the operator is off a deck of the lift, and whether the operator is clear of a projected motion pay of the lift.
