Abstract:
A configuration enabling selective copy permission for each of a basic layer and an auxiliary layer used for reproduction of video data is realized. A copy execution apparatus performing a data copying process between media performs a process of receiving dynamic range scalability limiting information that is copy limiting information recording whether or not copy is allowed for each of a basic layer and an auxiliary layer used for reproduction of video data from a copy management server, determining whether or not copy is allowed for each of the layers, selecting layer data allowed to be copied or video data generated on the basis of the copy-allowed layer data, and copying the selected data to a second medium.
Abstract:
System, apparatus, method, and computer readable media for on-the-fly captured video summarization. A video stream is incrementally summarized in concurrence with generation of the stream by a camera module. Saliency of the video stream summary is maintained as the stream evolves by updating the summary to include only the most significant frames. In one exemplary embodiment, saliency is determined by optimizing an objective function including terms that are indicative of both the diversity of a selection, and how representative the selection is to the processed portion of the video data corpus. A device platform including a CM and comporting with the exemplary architecture may provide video camera functionality at ultra-low power, and/or with ultra-low storage resources, and/or with ultra-low communication channel bandwidth.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program, whereby a graphics mode to play a graphics image, or the like can be changed without changing resolution. A device plane to store a graphics, video, or background image is a storage region where an L region to store an image for L, and a R region to store an image for R are collaterally arranged, and the configuration of the device plane is defined as to the whole of the device plane that is of storage regions for two images. The graphics mode or the like is included in the configuration of the device plane, and a configuration mode setting API sets the graphics mode. The present invention may be applied to a BD player configured to play a BD, or the like.
Abstract:
The present technology relates to a reproduction device, a reproduction method, and a program which are capable of transferring information about a color gamut and a dynamic range of luminance of a content recorded in a recording medium to a display device. A reproduction device of the present technology includes: a readout unit configured to read out, from a recording medium recording a content, a file of a video stream and a file of reproduction management information used for reproducing the video stream and including monitor information indicating at least one of a color gamut and a dynamic range of luminance of a master monitor used for authoring the video stream; a decoding unit configured to decode the video stream; and an output unit configured to control an output of video data obtained by decoding the video stream and the monitor information included in the reproduction management information to a display device, depending on a performance of the display device to which the content is output. The present technology can be applied to a player that reproduces a content.
Abstract:
A pair of main-view and sub-view video streams and a graphics stream are recorded on a BD-ROM disc. M etadata is provided in each GOP in the sub-view video stream. The metadata includes offset information. The offset information specifies offset control for a plurality of pictures constituting a GOP. Offset control is to provide a left offset and right offset for the horizontal coordinates in a graphics plane to generate a pair of graphics planes, and to combine them separately with main-view and sub-view video planes. The sub-view video stream is packetized and multiplexed in a transport stream. A header of each TS packet includes a TS priority flag. TS packets containing the metadata have a different value of TS priority flag from TS packets containing sub-view pictures.
Abstract:
In one aspect of the present disclosure a method for generating an entry for an electronic laboratory journal includes selecting a laboratory workflow specifying at least one action an operator has to carry out, wherein the action involves one or more pieces of laboratory equipment, recording one or more images or videos of the action by the operator by using a camera associated with an augmented-reality device worn by the operator and generating an entry for an electronic laboratory journal based on the recorded one or more images or videos.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a data recording apparatus capable of properly managing contents of data and reproduction information even if a portion of the data is deleted. If a portion of Clip is deleted so that an ATC-sequence becomes discontinuous, the value of offset_STC_id for an STC-sequence at the beginning of the ATC-sequence is set so that the value of stc_id of each STC-sequence following the ATC discontinuity does not change. stc_id of an STC-sequence is an ID for identifying the STC-sequence. The present invention can be applied to an operation to record an AV stream onto an optical disk.
