Abstract:
The invention relates to a fitting base (1) of a plug (2) comprising: a supporting element (11) comprising at least one opening suitable for receiving at least one connector of the plug (2), a first stationary portion (12) projecting from the supporting element (11), a first movable portion (13) secured to the first stationary portion (12), said movable portion (13) having a shape and dimensions suitable for the insertion thereof into a first cavity (21) in the plug (2) when the at least one connector of the plug (2) is fitted in the at least one opening in the supporting element (11). The invention also relates to a plug (2) and to a locking system (3).
Abstract:
A protective jacket for a portable computing device in accordance with one example includes a cover movably attached to the jacket. The cover includes an inner portion to seal a plurality of connectors of the device when the cover is in a closed position. The cover also includes an outer portion to magnetically couple to magnetic members disposed within a surface of the jacket when the cover is in an open position.
Abstract:
A connector (1) includes a housing (4) that has a fitting chamber (4B) with an insertion opening (4A) for a flat conductor (3) in the upper surface thereof and whose lower side is placed on a circuit board (2), a locking spring (7) that locks the flat conductor (3), and an unlocking member (8). The locking spring (7) is provided with a housing fixing portion (7b), an elastic arm (7d) that is rotationally displaced about the housing fixing portion (7b) away from the flat conductor (3), an engaging piece (7a) that engages with a locking portion (3c) of a through-shape provided in the flat conductor (3), and a sliding contact portion (7g) that comes into oblique sliding contact with the unlocking member (8) displaced by a pressing operation, rotates the elastic arm (7d), and extracts the engaging piece (7a) from the locking portion (3c).
Abstract:
A connector used for connecting to substrates and including bases and a shaft is provided. The bases are disposed on the substrates individually and include terminals embedded the base. The shaft is pivoted to the bases and includes a first element, a second element stacking with the first element and conductive rings. The second element includes first and second conductive circuits. The first conductive circuits are connected to the second conductive circuit, and each first and each second conductive circuit has a first pad and a second pad on the second element. The conductive rings are sleeved to the shaft, and connected to the first pad and the second pad electrically and individually. When the shaft is rotatably assembled to the bases, the first pads and the second pads are contact with the terminals electrically via the conductive rings and the conductive rings are capable of contacting with the terminals.
Abstract:
A dual orientation connector having a connector tab with first and second major opposing sides and a plurality of electrical contacts carried by the connector tab. The plurality of contacts includes a first set of external contacts formed at the first major side and a second set of external contacts formed at the second major side. The first plurality of contacts are symmetrically spaced with the second plurality of contacts and the connector tab is shaped to have 180 degree symmetry so that it can be inserted and operatively coupled to a corresponding receptacle connector in either of two insertion orientations.
