Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of network communications, and provide a method, device, and system for quickly informing a CGN exception, so that a CGN has relatively small load when recreating NAT mapping. In addition, the method is applicable to a commonest application scenario. The method includes: receiving, by an AR, a first packet sent in a unicast manner by a CGN, where the first packet includes information for indicating Restart announce, a source address of the first packet is an address of the CGN, and a destination address of the first packet is an address of the AR; changing, by the AR, the destination address of the first packet to an address of a CPE connected to the AR, to obtain the second packet, where the AR and the CPE are connected by using a Layer 2 network, and the address of the CPE is a multicast address; and sending, by the AR, the second packet. The method is used for quickly informing, after the CGN restarts or undergoes an active/standby switchover, the CPE that an exception occurs, for example, the CGN restarts or undergoes an active/standby switchover.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and devices for network selection are disclosed herein. User equipment (UE) includes a communication component, a rules component, and a network selection component. The communication component may be configured to communicate over a 3GPP network and a non-cellular network. The rules component may be configured to store an access network discovery and selection function (ANDSF) management object (MO) that includes wireless local area network (WLAN) selection policies for network selection on the UE. The WLAN selection policies may include interworking WLAN (I-WLAN) policies and Hotspot 2.0 (HS2.0) parameters. The network selection component is configured to select an available WLAN based on the ANDSF MO.

Abstract:
An application program may be executed through an Internet protocol (IP) address linkage in an image forming apparatus supporting a peer-to-peer connection. The application program may be executed by performing a method which includes connecting the image forming apparatus to a wireless device through a wireless local area network, driving a soft access point (AP) module of the image forming apparatus so that the image forming apparatus functions as an AP, driving a dynamic host configuration protocol server of the image forming apparatus to allocate a dynamic IP address to the connected wireless device, and linking the dynamic IP address allocated to the wireless device with a static IP address that is preset with respect to the wireless device.
Abstract:
A method, apparatus and system enable a mobile device to roam while maintaining a persistent IP tunnel. Specifically, a mobile router may be utilized to enable a mobile device to maintain a persistent IP tunnel while the device roams. In one embodiment, the mobile device is a virtual host and the mobile router is a virtual mobile router.
Abstract:
According to a first aspect of the present invention there is provided a method of routing traffic in a communications network employing Proxy Mobile IP, in which a traffic flow has been transferred from a first interface (4) of a multi-homed mobile node (1), having a first IP address, to a second interface (5) of the multi-homed mobile node (1), having a second IP address. The method comprises, at the mobile node (1) and at a mobility anchor function (2), performing forward and reverse address translation between the first IP address and the second IP address.
Abstract:
A wireless data card includes: a detecting module, adapted to send a notification message to an executing module after detecting a DNS resolution request sent by a computer and detecting that no user account information exists in the wireless data card; and an executing module, adapted to: receive the notification message sent by the detecting module, send prompt information to the computer so as to prompt a user to input the user account information, and write the input user account information into the wireless data card so that the computer can use the user account information to access the Internet through the wireless data card. A working method of the wireless data card is disclosed. The wireless data card and the working method of the wireless data card avoid the inconvenience caused by loss of the driver CD-ROM, work at a low cost, and require no extra memory.
